I genuinely wanted to like this place. It has a good reputation locally and a pleasant atmosphere, which makes this experience all the more puzzling. I ordered the pork and prawn Thai salad, expecting the bright, punchy flavours that define Thai cuisine. What arrived wasβ¦ baffling. No chilli. No heat. Very little flavour at all. Most surprising was the base: a bed of coleslaw. After travelling to Thailand multiple times and eating this dish in countless forms, Iβve never encountered coleslaw used in this way. It felt less like a Thai salad and more like a Kiwi reinterpretation that had lost the essence of the original entirely. Thai food lives and dies by balance β heat, acidity, salt, sweetness. This dish had none of that tension. It was safe, muted, and ultimately forgettable.

The best Thai food we had in NZ! A really quaint spot, the duck pancakes and stir fried chicken with cashews were both delicious. Portions were slightly smaller than other Asian places we tried, but it was certainly tasty and we really enjoyed our lunch!

Not really up to normal standard tonight unfortunately for us. Hong Kong Noodles were extremely oily and lacked in normal flavor couldn't even eat most of it! Vegetarian spring rolls were great as always and Sweet & Sour was nicely flavored but had a large amount of carrot.

Discovered a little Southeast Asian eatery in Rangiora. Portions were generous and filling, definitely good value. The flavors felt more catered toward Kiwi/Western taste buds rather than being super authentic, but still tasty and enjoyable overall. Worth checking out if youβre in the area and want a decent feed.

Delicious chicken with peanut sauce! Also shared a red curry chicken and pork belly with noodles which were good. Would visit again if we lived locally.

Had a delicious meal at Nom Nom. Fresh Spring Rolls (duck, as they'd run out of the vege) were very tasty and the Cashew Chicken Fried Rice was substantial and flavoursome. The food came out slower than we'd anticipated but was worth the wait. Had the non alcoholic cocktail which was very very good, if we hadn't been rushed to get to our show I'd have ordered another. Well priced and friendly service. Will definitely return.

Cosy, intimate place, warm atmosphere. Service was pretty good, attentive and meals were served promptly. I loved the spring rolls, and my stir fry was tasty. Prices are reasonable. We had a good experience here last night.

Really disappointing meals We have dined here now 3 times. 1 Time we had a good meal but the 1st time and this time really disappointing. Very bland meals. Pork belly was dry with a bland sauce over noodles and a coleslaw with no dressing. Spicey fried noodles not at all spicy. Maybe hit and miss with thr chef. Really not understanding the popularity of this restaurant. Will not dine here again. Also, do not book online as 2 out of 2 times my booking did not go through to the restaurant.
