Food establishment in New Zealand

“BEST BEEF MADRAS EVER! Succulent melt-in-your-mouth cubes of beef, no fat or gristle, just pure top quality beef. Sauce to die for. Lovely service, lovely staff, dine-in or takeaway doesnt matter, the quality is always there.”

“Great food and service! And Ainsley, our server, was terrific! I would highly recommend Bella Cucina!!”

““Best location to enjoy an outdoor setting with a stunning view of the hills! The customer service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The cocktails were amazing, and the spice level in the food was just perfect. We truly enjoyed every bit of our evening — thanks to The Lounge and the wonderful team!””

“On Saturday night, we celebrated a friend’s first home purchase with dinner at Gina Restaurant. From drinks and entrées to mains and desserts, everything was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive, moving effortlessly between tables with a warm, contagious smile. Thanks to the entire Gina’s team, we enjoyed a truly joyful celebration. We’ll definitely be back!”

“This is genuinely the best butter chicken in the whole of New Zealand.. I’ve tried so many other places and nothing compares to Sagar. 10000/10”

“Our go to place for excellent food. Enjoyed the Biryani and Tandoori Chicken”

“Not our first time at Elmos, and once again it didn’t disappoint. We were lucky enough to catch the last round of truffle season ,the dishes were absolutely amazing. The service was 5-star, attentive and friendly throughout. The environment is cozy, surrounded by beautiful paintings and stylish décor.”

“Got some pizzas delivered for a work event and they were a great hit! Good flavours, good crusts and obviously good sizes with those 1 meter pizzas!”

“Had a great night, Food was amazing, and great service, crispy Squid tentacles were delicious with a chillie sauce and the seafood Ka ta was also delicious. Will be back more often. Gigi and staff thank you for the great food.”

“Amazing Thai food, fun modern atmosphere. We loved the pad Thai - great consistency and flavor. Not too dry or too saucy. Garlic fried w/ ginger rice was delicious, had great chili sauce to go with it. We really really loved the mango and sticky rice and roti w/ pandan”

“Excellent food and service from Thai Street. Papaya salad was nicely seasoned and prepared. Tom yum soup is actually huge for $32.5 and good to share for four people. Pad Thai and beef was fantastic too.”

“First time trying this place after moving into the area. Ordered a hot red duck curry takeaway. Took about 15 minutes. It was so good! Lots of vegetables, a whole breast cut up on top and actually spicy! Came with rice so very well priced for $24, especially for the duck serving. Woman on counter super friendly. Will be back!”

“This place was amazing! I came here with my mother and the service was great. The food took no more than 15 minutes to cook and was delicious for the price and portion. We wish to bring more of my family next time we come. Great place.”

“If you're looking for the best Pad Thai in town, you're in luck! The food is phenomenal, the staff were lovely and I would go back 100%.”

“Impressive variety of quality vegetables and succulent chicken. The sauces were beautiful and the spice ranges were finally hot enough! Thai “medium” is what many western people will call too hot… but it’s not! If you don’t like spice order mild - for me, I ordered the hottest curry I could and it was incredible!! The sharp chilli spice cutting through the creamy coconut sauce with rich umami undertones… heaven. The Pad Thai lacked that sexy wok hei smokiness, and I prefer a wider flatter noodle, otherwise fantastic.”

“Came here with my partner and ordered chicken pad Thai and beef pad Khee Mao (drunken noodles). Recommended if you want authentic Thai food. One of the best in Auckland!”

“Lovely, warm and friendly staff. The food is absolutely great and always cooked on time. The Pad Thai is the best”

“Wow, what a night. We went for a birthday dinner . The atmosphere was great, the food was exceptional, with huge portions, the service was excellent. We wanted for nothing. We'd certainly go back to Der Metz. Highly recommend”

“Great Japanese food selection and delicious food. Will definitely come back again!”

“Absolutely love the food here! I always get the quesadillas and eat it all up every time. The service was also great, the staff were attentive and fast. The interior is nice and clean, just in the day there are a lot of wasps inside especially in the sunny areas near the windows.”

“Great place. First time visiting. Loved the nachos (yes, they're Gluten Free), with beef. We're really delicious and the small size was perfect. I'll definitely go back.”

“So I was invited to do a collab on a collab between Gen Z influencers @wezgudinc (on IG and YT go follow and subscribe) and Flaming Onion Browns Bay. They are reviewing the best cheeseburger in town. The branch in Birkenhead is phenomenal cos I have had food from there during lockdown and it’s still memorable! So we rock up to the Browns Bay branch and let me tell you they do not disappoint! Sham was on duty that day and he made a platter of delectable food! The cheeseburger was spot on! And the loaded fries were enthused by the pulled pork on top. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside! Totally worth the visit and cost. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Delicious food! Must try Spicy Garlic Udon stir try!!”

“Price and portion are both reasonable, and the food was excellent. Food was served a little slow but that makes sense considering how busy they were. Recommended!!”

“This place is a gem. We ordered share plates (edamame, chicken katsu, tempura veges and okinomiyaki) followed by Japanese ice cream. All were prepared very nicely and were delicious. Service was efficient and friendly even though the hard working staff were quite busy. The whole place reminded us of small restaurants in Japan. We wish there was somewhere similar near where we live.”

“WOW, my 3rd visit to this establishment for celebrating birthdays and today a MOTHERS DAY high tea experience! This was outstanding, the wait staff really looked after our table despite the cheek I gave them all. The place settings and tea selection was first class, then came the delicious high tea style food plus hot savouries absolutely amazing and super delicious we managed to eat everything presented! After our feasting we all went for a stroll around the beautiful property, fantastic a wonderful place for wedding photo shoot! Oh and the venue of course. Thank you for the most enjoyable trouble free MOTHERS DAY celebration! No dishes or cleaning up required! Oh it would pay your team to water blast the signage it top front of your premises, my only fault! Arthur C. Charlton West Auckland NZ”

“On Christmas 2023, my brother and sister-in-law gifted me and my husband a gift voucher to Parnell 149 high tea with bubbles. Was amazed by the food quality - they were delicious! The service was great from the 2 host and the manager Jazz. The restaurant was well presented, clean including the bathroom. Please keep up the good work.”

“The food is very good and well prepared, with portion sizes are satisfying. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, making the overall dining experience very enjoyable.”

“The braised green bean and egg plant was different from pic (no onions, no pepper, and the color) So we asked about it. A staff said, it couldn’t be the same as pic. and plz try it and if you still don’t like it, I’ll change it for you. So we tried and asked another menu. (Taste was good tho) all dishes were fantastic!! and even when we checked out, she changed to lower price we ordered at the first. thank u so much!!”
