   I give credit to the waiter who kept pouring endless glasses of water to our table. Their kitchen wasn't in any rush to bring out the orders, and there were people who walked out as they waited too long for their food. We were patient enough to watch and wait for ours and the goings ons in the restaurant. We see people asking when their meals will be served. Small, half a palm of steak arrives with unseasoned fries, and brocollini finally came almost to an hour wait . We had the cajun lamb, which was pleasant. We had the 1st table deal, probably why we had an appalling service . We did think of desert but go against it as it will stress the kitchen further. FYI, 1st table deals are pretty limited to only certain dishes. Would we be back, probably not.

   Nice vibe to the place. I went for an early dinner so the place was pretty empty but it took a bit of time for food to come out. Not an issue as I wasn't in a rush. The seafood options (fish) tasted good and the prawn Entree was yummy. I wouldn't say there was a wow factor with food but the mirrors on the ceiling and cute candles certainly stood out. Mocktails were okay and while the dishes can be pricey, the place is worth checking out.

   We went there for dinner for Valentine’s day. Food portions are quite small for the price we paid as you can see on the photos ($120 each). Taste wise, nothing extraordinary. Quite disappointing actually especially with the price we paid. It was a 4- course meal and we understand it was busy since it was Valentines however, time intervals between serving every course is too long and it took almost 2.5hours to finish our meal.

   On Christmas 2023, my brother and sister-in-law gifted me and my husband a gift voucher to Parnell 149 high tea with bubbles. Was amazed by the food quality - they were delicious! The service was great from the 2 host and the manager Jazz. The restaurant was well presented, clean including the bathroom. Please keep up the good work.

   Really great place to chill on the streetery tables and grab oysters. The staff were very friendly and accomodative. Highly recommend if in area. The coromondal Oysters were really well priced as well compared to other restaurants I explored in Auckland.

   I absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was amazing, and the food was for dying for. We had the natural oysters that were really fresh, the crab lasagne, e the market fish that was the king fish, so yummy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   Very happy with our meal at this establishment. We had the 5 course degustation and each of the five meals were tasty. The portions aren’t the biggest but we were feeling sated by the end of it. The waitress we had was friendly and the food was served in a timely manner.

   A delightfully quaint seafood restaurant in the heart of Parnell wanting to be upmarket but yet there were laundry baskets in the entrance to the bathrooms & waiters communicating via microphone which seemed to bring its own issues. Beautifully presented food & drinks - delicious seafood options. Portion sizes were ok but if you were hungry you’d be left wanting. First round of mimosa was very sweet & not quite right which was quickly corrected by the manager - unfortunately no fresh lime despite being advised there was & large chunks of ice rather than crushed ice. All in all an ok experience but I wouldn’t race back. 3.5 stars from me
