They have a fantastic variety of fresh and packaged products—from fragrant spices and lentils to frozen snacks and specialty items you can’t find elsewhere. The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable, and I always find what I’m looking for. Highly recommended for anyone who loves cooking desi food or needs hard-to-find ingredients!”

“I can only say that the fettucine pasta that I ordered was one of the best tasting pasta that we’ve ever had. We got chicken breast and added mushrooms and the chicken breast was amazingly tender and flavoursome. It was a hit with the whole family. Delicious!”

“Excellent service on Mothers day where we enjoyed a filling, value for money menu in a friendly customer focused atmosphere. We ate inside where we were able to order off a varied menu. We ordered the benediction breakfast, and the big breakfast. Both were flavourful, with generous portions. The coffee was hot, and well made, in fact we ordered another at the end of our meal, taking our time to catch up without feeling rushed. We met Shaheen the owners wife who was checking to see that we were okay. Thank you to the chef, barista, and welcoming staff who made my mother's day very special.”

“We've been to “Sticky Fingers Cafe” multiple times now, celebrating different occasions — and every single time, the experience has been outstanding. The “Eggs Benedict” is hands down one of the best we've had, perfectly poached eggs with just the right balance of richness and flavour. The “Chicken Panini” is another standout — crisp on the outside, juicy and flavourful inside, with every bite packed with goodness. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it feel like a cozy local gem. The hospitality is second to none — the staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about your dining experience. Special shoutout to Chef Sarath — his creativity and precision in the kitchen are nothing short of magical. Every dish he prepares shows true passion and love for food, and it's a big part of why we keep coming back. Sticky Fingers Cafe has become one of our favourite spots in town, and we’ll definitely continue to come back for more!”

“We ordered the big breakfast, and smashed avocado. Mochiato with Oat milk. The food was beautifully presented, and tasted even better. Great serving size, not huge but the quality was excellent. and the coffee had a nice strength and flavour, the perfect cup! The place was very clean, staff lovely, not too busy and varied seating, easy parking and nice location. Could do with more street signage”

“JUNE 2025 - new management I've lived close by for years but it has only recently become one of my favorite shops in the area! This place is under new management and they have put a lot of effort into making it a great little shop. It has come a long way in a short amount of time and I really hope they get the customer support need. “My friend had popped over from Melbourne and was staying at the Park Hyatt so we decided to come here. A very good choice we made. The service was very quick and the drinks and food was top notch. We had The Hail Mary (Philly cheese steak) and The fried chicken burger with a couple of drinks. The fries that came with the food was crispy but soft inside and Steak Sandwich was superb. It was a bit loud but the music was great. All in all we had a good evening out.”

“A wonderful Turkish influenced cafe. The Baklava latte was spot on. Paired with chilli scrambled eggs worked well with flavours. Loved the whipped feta beetroot that came with the smashed avocado. They also have a separate kids menu. Our table host Ted was pleasant and gave us a good experience. Beautiful morning wonderfully plated food. Even the butter on toast had a special wrap.”

The egg chicken katsu was flavorful, and the broth was perfect for a chilly day. Although the teriyaki eel was a bit too sweet for my taste, it was still enjoyable. Overall, the prices were affordable, making it a great value for the quality of food served.”

“Just looking for a little place. Just got into town in New Zealand at the pier. Like for some Asian food, something with flavor. We stumbled upon this place. The food was excellent. Service was good. Staff was prompt on all their items. The food is brought out as it's ready instead of waiting for everyone. Kind of nice. They're just small little dishes that we ordered. Everything tasted extremely fresh. Everything tasted the way it should. And met all our expectations. Me and Agnes were both please. Atmosphere sitting on the water. Relaxing. Eating good food beautiful scenery. Even though we're a little tired from our 13-hour flight. Still was nice to sit down. I have quality food. Another week or so here. Can't wait to try many more restaurants.”

“Love the vibe of this place, hidden gem inside a homeward/designer furniture store. They have their own covered parking space at the back of the building which is very convenient. Love the strawberry matcha latte, looked too pretty to consume. Had a good feast with reasonable prices. Service was great too, A++++ my friend accidentally spilled his glass and broke it. Waitress was so patient and super polite about the whole thing. Also highly recommend the tiramisu, and the duck island s’more ice cream sandwich.”

“Really enjoyed dining in for lunch. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with bacon and it was delicious! The portion was quite generous. I also ordered an oat Hazelnut Latte and it was the perfect balance of coffee and sweet nuttiness. Although it was quite busy when I was waiting to be seated, the staff acknowledged me when they could although I didn’t mind waiting. The service was prompt and staff were lovely. I would love to dine in again sometime soon :)”
