“I purchased 2 Ikea desks on 2 seperate occasions. The first one had a part missing from the box. So I emailed and I had a super quick response the same day advising they would ship the part out to me, or I could come and collect. Great customer service, and they didn't give me any trouble about the part missing. I liked the desk so much I went back to get another one for my son. Overall they had the most competitive price for the desk I wanted and great variety of small bedroom/apartment furniture. Pretty friendly team. Would definitely purchase from them again.”

“Full house for a Tue dinner service (before a sellout show at MFC). Be sure to book! Burrata, flatbread, snapper crudo, gnocchi, wagyu flank, half lamb shoulder (classic they'll hopefully never stop serving), sides of cauli & fries - between 4. All dishes were perfectly on point flavour-wise and generous enough to share. Everyone left satisfied and still recalling the yum hours later. Service was attentive and friendly but unprentious. Unique and broad selection of wines (cocktails a bit slow, but it was busy). Overall a very memorable meal and will for sure continue to recommend to others for special occassions, and return.”

I went into Atticus thinking it would be out of my price range but the shoes I liked were on sale and the shop assistant was really attentive helping me find the right size. “***I highly recommend Paul and the team at Challenge Pauatahanui*** - excellent customer service - community focused values and support - good prices, especially with the card - they stock Maycey’s packet lollies (smokers, jelly beans etc) For a good couple of years we lived in this area and they became our local gas station. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming especially Paul and his daughter's. They have a real sense of community about them and always took the time to banter and have a laugh. My heavily tattooed partner can often be misjudged because of his looks but not here - they got to know him well and he’s always appreciated that! They are huge pillar in the community and I have so much admiration for their support with community fundraisers and promoting local businesses. There are very few people and businesses like this anymore which is so sad when once upon a time it was the norm. So we must show our support and appreciation by choosing their services wherever we can. Thank you Paul and team so much for all you do and your amazing service! We'll definitely be back whenever we’re up those ways :D”

“We heard from hubby's mates about this place and how they have the best chicken & chips. Better than kfc & Joe's Cook. So tonight we tried it for the first time. We brought the Monster Munch it had 8 thigh pieces and 8 drums sticks with jumbo box of chips and 2 large potatoes and gravy. Well I have to say the rumors were definitely true. The chicken were freshly cooked to perfection and juicy. The potatoes and gravy were a hit with my kids and the chip's were fresh and crispy especially when you dunk it in the the potatoes and gravy. They also had these different salts there for you to pick from to use on your chips. Would definitely be going back that's for sure.”

“After shopping, I found that the right rear wheel of the car had an abnormal sound, and then parked in the parking lot in front of the store, just a handsome guy found us, chatted with us enthusiastically and said that he heard the sound of our car, and then helped us check that it may be that the stone was stuck in the brake disc. But he was done with work, he checked it for me and then went back to the shop to get the tools and said see if it could be solved, and then he noticed that there were sawdust stuck in the brakes and helped us get rid of it. He was friendly and communicated with us all the time. And he's off work and he's willing to help solve the problem, and it's free. The service was really good. Very impressed. Forgot to ask the name of the handsome guy. Thank you for that tall, thin and handsome guy.”
