Bought a car out of Christchurch that needed urgent attention and Richard and the team at Specialised Auto Services absolutely came through. I was on a tight deadline with travel booked, and they still squeezed me in, diagnosed the issue quickly, explained my options clearly, and got it safe to drive the same day. Communication was excellent, pricing was fair, and there was zero upsell — just honest advice and solid workmanship. Huge thanks to Richard and the crew.
I really can't say enough about how good the service at SAS is, I always feel like I am listened to and my concerns are taken seriously and I am always happy with the workmanship and pricing. Labour is usually cheaper than elsewhere as they know what they are doing and it takes less time and they always use OEM parts where they can instead of just dipping down to Repco like most mechanics these days. I have only had general mechanical work done on my Subarus so far but they will be my first choice for performance upgrades done right and any work required on our other vehicles. Awesome to see a thriving business full of passionate people who care, a pleasure everytime I need to drop by. Thanks boys.
It's my first time be there.Recommended by my regular mechanics. Overall had very good experience. They had found out the issue with my vehicles quickly and accurate. The team leader Jason is awesome with the patience and other guy who is work on my vehicle are very responsible too. Definitely will come back.
Hands down the best option for anything from expert dyno tuning through to basic mechanicals - especially for Subarus - these guys are the best there is. Thanks to Jason for tuning the version 9 and providing invaluable knowledge and advice.
