I've been a loyal Anastasis customer for over 5 years, regularly visiting the Mt Roskill and Te Atatū store, which have always delivered excellent coffee. Unfortunately, my experience at the Point Chevalier store this morning was disappointing. Despite the heavy rain, I went out of my way to grab two extra-large FW before a meeting. Once back in the car, my colleague immediately noticed that one cup felt significantly lighter than the other.I returned to the store and raised the issue with the barista. When he opened the cup, it turned out to be mostly milk foam. I expected him to remake the coffee, but instead, he just scooped out some of the foam with a spoon and added a little milk. When I stepped outside and took a sip, the coffee was already lukewarm and tasted unbalanced. This is not the level of quality I’ve come to expect from Anastasis. Unfortunately, the Point Chevalier store seems inconsistent compared to other locations. I hope this feedback helps improve the standard here.

Absolutely excellent coffee!! If you are looking for a new favorite place to get coffee, this is it. Great little cafe Its tiny you pop in to order then can sit outside on some small footpath seating. Some limited food options. It's all about the coffee here. You can buy their custom micro roasted coffee to go for great coffee at home or work also. Part of the always reliable Anastasis Coffee Roasters group of micro cafes Friendly staff Good vibe Well worth many visits

Can’t go past this popular place in Pt Chevalier for excellent coffee served with a smile. You can also buy beans and ground coffee from their own roastery - recommend. They offer pastries and Dr Feelgood ice-creams if you feel like a snack. Enjoy sitting outside or inside watching the comings and goings on Pt Chev Road.

Great location en route to Pt Chev Beach. Tried a few different blends: rapture & road runner but my favourite is the house blend. Visited and drank a number of cups of coffee around Auckland but the house blend at Anastasis has become a favourite for this fussy coffee drinker & even got my mum (the rare coffee drinker) hooked. Nice smooth oat milk used for those who drink alternative milks.

Ted’s coffee is the best in Auckland. He takes so much care and precision to make sure it’s perfect every time. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and look forward to my weekend coffee here so much! Josh is great too and highly recommend the Rapture blend, delicious. Not to mention the friendly relaxed vibe, if you love coffee, I would definitely suggest coming here.

Hands down, best coffee in Auckland.

Worst hot chocolate. So watery, tasteless like 99% water. My partner buys coffee beans so coffee must be good, but not hot chocolate.

One of the best coffee places in Auckland - Roadrunner is my fave blend - really smooth and strong. Bonus friendly barista.

Nice well-roasted coffee, organic, light as I love it

We had a medium mocha in rapture bean and a flat white in house blend bean, and both coffees were undeniably good! I'd definitely recommend this cafe to all.
