“Beautiful location. Our little family enjoyed spending time here. The weather turned a bit towards end of our trip so we decided to stay in a cabin for one night. The cabin was clean & cosy. The owners very accommodating & lovely. Thank you for your warm hospitality!”

He was so kind to take the time to answer all my questions about mass planting, what some of the plants were, what works, and what doesn't. He was extremely knowledgeable and took great pride in his work.”

“Loved our room. Great water pressure and shower clean well decorated rooms. TV had all the streaming services to suit the whole family. We only stayed 1 night and it was last minute would have liked to stay longer.”

“So many fun things to do at the park now. Partly sheltered with a sunshade. Skate park and water play area. Large climbing frame and slide. The larger park area contains walking tracks, gym stations and disc golf. There is also a basketball court for hours of fun.”

“Sealed road all the way to the campsite. Stunning place to relax along the Mohaka River. We stayed one night and woke up to amazing birdsong in the morning. The sound of water at night is peaceful too. Would definitely recommend if you're wanting a place to stay between Napier and Taupo.”

“Great short walk to waterfalls and really nice for a family outing. 20 mins walk to Te Ana Falls. Water is cold but It’s refreshing after hot summer walk. There’s another waterfall further up about 15 mins walk but be mindful that it’s only a look out and some of the track are about 500mm - 600mm you need to be extra careful especially when the ground is wet could be a little slippery.”

“Modestly sized for a monumental fountain, it features a pool that is quite large in relation to the fountain itself. Access is via steps and a ramp.”

“We've just finished our first term of toddler swimming lessons with Teenica at Splash Swim School. We have loved it and will definitely be back next term (and the term after, and the term after...). Great staff, well paced lessons and really good to know the skills being practiced and developed through the different activities. “Bell Rock at Boundary Stream is the most insanely beautiful place in New Zealand that almost nobody has been to. Even local people, I show photos to, and they are stunned. It's like New Zealands Grand Canyon, amazing rock forms. The bush walk to it is also surreal, almost deafening number of birds. An absolute magic place.”
