“Great vibes!! Super cute little bar. Drinks were delicious and fries were *chef's kiss* - will 100% be back. Also really liked that the cocktails were vegan (i.e. aquafaba instead of egg white).”
“Absolutely amazing hiking trail - we took a taxi from the city centre and got dropped off here to hike to Nicols falls. It was about a 15-20 minute hike, just make sure you take the left at the waterfall sign 300m into the track. Track was a little tricky and slippery even on a nice day - wouldn’t want to do the hike if it was raining as that would make it much more difficult. 10/10 recommend very peaceful and serene spot.”
“Very interesting to explore all the rooms and tunnels and the view is spectacular.”
King's Wok keeps things classic fish-and-chips and focused on flavour. Fried rice and classics arrive hot and even. Value feels fair for the spread. Takeaway holds up well on the drive. Good value sho...
“The rugby field is well-maintained, featuring a lush, even playing surface that enhances game performance. The goalposts are sturdy, and the markings are clear and visible. Spectator seating is ample, providing a great view of the action. Amenities like restrooms and concession stands are conveniently located, adding to the overall experience. The atmosphere during matches is electric, with passionate fans creating an ultimate sense of community. Overall, it’s an excellent venue for both players and spectators alike.”
“The best walk ever, so many many to see, some short uphills mixed with mostly easy walking, all on a gravel track.”
“Great walk. Has its easy and not quiet so easy sections on the walk”
“Always a pleasure . Love the Sunday train”
“Pretty nice winding forest walk, steep in some parts. Seemed to be a bit of a wasp problem higher up currently, but there were warning signs up.”
“An amazing park centrally located in Dunedin. It offers an beautiful and impressive war memorial as well. Its a nice place to have a stroll or just chill down. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.”
“The go to one stop shop for anything arts and crafts”
“A little relaxing and calm place, despite being located next to the railway. This Chinese-themed garden is well worth a visit.”
“You can visit the world's only mainland colony of Royal Albatross at the tip of the Otago Peninsula in Dunedin, New Zealand. Small guided tours to a glassed hide allows viewing of some of the nesting albatross. To protect the albatross from human disturbance, the headland is not publicly accessible. You can see adults in flight with their three metre wingspans as they glide around the headland. The centre is free to enter but tours are charged. Uneven terrain, lot of walking. Toilets available. Cafes available on site. Before the walkabout tour, you are given a demonstration/lecture about the birds and the work of the centre. Popular with tourists. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Parking is easy. Amazing place to visit. Great place for photography.”
“Great coffee and scones(a bit on the expensive side for its size but delicious nonetheless) Seating outside with view of polytech, walkway has been rebuilt and seems more people friendly now. Would love to see more areas like this!”
“Great safe place to swim just make sure you check the water has a safe rating.”

“Beautiful park, amazing view and a quality turf.”
“We loved this tour. Darren our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate. Perry the owner also was very passionate and friendly. The scenery and wildlife were just wow. Their commitment to conservation is inspiring the little buggies are a fun way to get around and splashing through the mud was fun and we didn’t even get messy. The property and scenery is stunning. We saw a lot of seals, birdlife and the little blue penguins up close without touching or disturbing their habitat. Really highly recommend taking this tour and while there grab yourself a New Zealand made gift also and the coffee and muffins were very good.”
“Had a blast at timezone, lovely sushi for lunch. Had coffees at muffin break. Got a fantastic haircut at EFX hair and beauty! They were fantastic as someone who has major anxiety about people touching my hair they couldn't of been more attentive. Absolutely brilliant service”
“I've tried a lot of roasts in Dunedin and hands down this is the best. The lunch special with desert is really good value and the staff are really lovely. This is a gem, would highly recommend the meals and atmosphere. They have a chef who knows what they are doing.”
The Black Dog Kitchen & Bar keeps things classic fish-and-chips and focused on flavour. A coastal backdrop rounds out the stop. Grill work shows a clean sear and rested meats. Sweets lean classic and not overly rich.
