A great wee Park handy to South Dunedin shopping area. Bakery next door, childcare centre and Oxford Court Resthome across the road. Has benches for picnics AND a flying fox.
This park is one of the better parks for a picnic with the family. With its new public toilets and being a none smoking zone .
It's a great little park for all ages. Some picnic tables would be brilliant.

Nice playground, more equipment than you can see from main road. Worth a visit for young kids. Need to keep shoes on though woodchips are sharp
A truly great suburban park, lots of seating some interesting paved areas. The fort/boat playground is really quite something, in the slightly older style. It's 100% wooden with steel ladders, an old style metal slide and a fireman's pole. My daughter loved climbing up the ladders and thought it hilarious when I climbed the pole instead. She also liked she could stand on the upper level and play king of the castle with me on the lower platform. The real highlight of the park though has to be the flying fox, it needs an adult or larger child to set it up but it has a reasonably gentle slope so both older and younger kids can enjoy it. Overall the park seemed reasonably popular in the couple of hours we spent there there were probably twenty to thirty people came and went. We never had much of a wait for any equipment. Was nice with the dairy down the road we could grab some ice-creams as well. Overall a good spot to while away a later summer afternoon.
