Nice walk , very Quiet place...id say definitely a track need a car at this end (Henley end) and 1 at Taieri Mouth as 9.3 kms are quite a walk especially both ways
One of my favourite tracks. A couple of spots for good views and nice and cool under the trees for most of the walk.
A very nice walk to do! Not to difficult or slippery. I did it after rainy day! Walking through native bush. Fallowing the river. Some very nice view point from the gorge. Lots of bird, peacefull.
Such a beautiful walk. 10 out of 10. Although track needs work and csn only get to the picnic seat at the look out.
This is an easy-moderate walk, with great view of the Taieri River and the magnificent mountains. Kids can join this walk with their parents.
We had a great walk. Great views. Most of the track goes through the forest where there is plenty of shade. Perfect for a nice walk in summer
Hiking, kayaking, jetskllng, fishing. Nice river and natural picnic areas along the rivers edge.
This is a good walking track and also a perfect place for family walk with kids and dogs. You get to see amazing lake/river. It took us almost 3 hours to finish the walk (with return). Generally, it's a hard track as it's mostly flat but there parts that are steep. I will definitely recommend this.
Not a lot of signage. Track was very overgrown when I went and needed some maintenance. Not too difficult but definitely take water with you and food if you are planning on walking the whole distance. Not pram friendly but I was able to walk it with my 6 month old on my back. Otherwise a nice track
