Great vibes!! Super cute little bar. Drinks were delicious and fries were *chef's kiss* - will 100% be back. Also really liked that the cocktails were vegan (i.e. aquafaba instead of egg white).
The staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming. Instead of creating a safe and respectful environment, they spread negativity and intolerance. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values respect, inclusivity, and basic human decency
My friend and I visited Woof! during our time in Dunedin and loved it so much we went back again the next night. The vibes were fantastic, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the place was decorated extremely well. The first night we both had the South Island Iced Tea which combined gin, white rum, gentian liqueur, spiced vanilla liqueur, cognac, Averna Amaro, cola and kawakawa tea. It was absolutely delicious with an earthy vanilla and caramel vibe to it. I've never had anything like it. The second night my friend had the Blood Orange Margarita and I had the Sage Advice. I'm a big fan of savoury drinks but never see much of them on menus so I was super happy to see it and even happier to drink it.
Woof is the spot!! Just an awesome space, people and atmosphere. Central Dunedin with street chairs/tables/blankets if you want the outdoors, indoor booths and open plan sitting if a "diner" vibe isn't what you're after. Bar staff with the most enthusiastic, courteous energy with high attention to detail. Woof is amazing put simply. Old fashioned's they serve rock.
Probably awesome if you have a lot of money and like fancy cocktails. $40 for 2 margaritas that includes 3 ingredients is not the place for me. Tiny, crowded, tables all sticky. Lights above the little tables are like heat lamps.

Drinks are unique, staff are friendly and there’s a vibrant atmosphere. The food menu is light and tasty. Always love coming here to play board games with friends over a few well crafted cocktails.
Very charming ambience. The cocktails should be a tad less expensive for the average quality. Bar snacks were creative and tasty.
Absolutely charming little bar with a friendly, cozy, unique atmosphere. Definitely recommend their cocktails (Mai tai is the one pictured)
