   It's more of a hike than a walk, rocky and steep in places, with occasional deadfall across the track. Go with that in mind and you'll love it!! The track is well shaded by Bush, so out of the sun and the wind. It'll take you between 2 and 4 hours there and back, depending on fitness.

   Looking for something different. This easy walk beside the Taieri River can be enhanced by searching for fungi or lichen.

   Undulating path narrower at start then widens. Mainly sycamore willow and kanuka trees. Follows river we only walked about 25 minutes to swimming spot. After this was warning sign track has had damage and only suitable for trampers.

   Not many good view along the trek, but the final destination is relaxing, you can hvar picnic there and watching the river look.
