John is so friendly and always would like to show you how to feed the sheep and alpaca. Not far away from Dunedin and we will stay there again if going down. ❤️”

“Went as an international visitor and I think I paid $35 for the whole experience. They have so many exhibit including NZ/Dunedin early history, Maori, "Animal Attic" (mostly animal taxidermy), Maritime (ship models) and People of the World (random assortment of cultures - they even have a mummy). The Planetarium was alright but I went to the Night Sky one which was rather boring to be honest. The science/kids section was fun but a lot of the exhibit needs to be refreshed as they have seen a lot of use. The butterfly garden was very interesting as it is something you don't see often. They also have a cafe onsite but I did not try it. I spent around 3hrs trying to see everything but this place definitely need a few visits if you want to experience everything. My only complaint is that the gift shop does not have many Otago Museum branded things -only magnets and postcard - I was ready to buy more souvenirs, had they had more!”

“Otago university - oldest university in NZ offering chilling weather, encircled with mountains, having lush green grass and amazing view of clock tower. Gift center provides you multiple options to gift your loved ones. Also, provides you an opportunity to buy something which marked with university of otago clock tower. Caps, pens, key rings, T-shirt, paper towel, and many more things are available. Loved to visit this place, and bought gifts for my friends. The receptionist was amazing, showed every possible options with a huge smile on face. Best place to buy gift which puts lifetime memory.”

“I saw it as/in passing to go to Salvation Army opportunity shop in Mosgiel. Two opp shops at least here. Wanted a place to stay the night, but could've ventured back home. Drove back after visiting Mosgiel's opp shops. Also getting sushi lunch there. Drove up, met reception, had a look at the room available, asked the price, then said "I'll take it." Later upon my return, I settled in and can report well worth staying. The room reaches my expectations, even the jug was clean, some places jug has rust inside! Thank you to Regency Motels Mosgiel. (In closing, HeHe, I often wonder with these reviews, what it would be like, if the host was to write a review about---ME!? And other guests report of me, same. Maybe Neighbours of my unit might be writing noisy night, as neighbour was snoring, other than that, the resort was superb). Regards Dcuzbromatov.”

So delicious & great value for money. Let alone eating inside the most beautiful building of Dunedin so much like some of the arty buildings in lower Manhattan New York city. “We only stayed one night, were wishing we had booked for longer! Was a neat tidy unit, heater was on when we got there which was nice......we were late with our arrival and they couldn't have been more understanding. Rural location, really quiet, no light coming into room at night and pet friendly!! Cutest receptionist ever, thank you Mr Darcy. Would happily go back and recommend.”

“An amazing park centrally located in Dunedin. It offers an beautiful and impressive war memorial as well. Its a nice place to have a stroll or just chill down. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.”

“Fabulous Botanic garden! Spent around three hours and could have used double of that - at least! But then I do love plants and trees. Visiting mid-november plenty to see. I felt, I only scratched the surface. A few places I could not find a name on the plant, but I probably would have found it else where if time havde been plenty. Don't miss the aviary!”

“Me and my partner decided to try this place as it opened relatively recently, and we were not disappointed! We ordered lots of starters, which are normally on the yum cha menu during lunch. The tripe and the fried squid were probably my favourites, but all of the dishes were really good! Even my partner who is normally hard to impress was really happy with all of the food. “We stopped into the Reading Cinemas on the Octogon yesterday. It was a good day for catching a movie. We were at the afternoon session so it wasn't busy and we pretty much had the cinema to ourselves. The service was excellent. We had a light lunch and the usual popcon for the movie. Very comfy seats in the premium theatre our movie screened in. The cinema and foyer areas were really clean and tidy. Overall was an awesome cinema experience!”
