I'm always nervous to go to training- as I'm a small fellow. But once I arrive the community is so friendly I leave forgetting that I was even worried in the first place, taking home essential skills with me. I can also appreciate the owner, Michael who also is always implementing changes and figuring out how he can make the most value out of his classes.”

From the start, driving has been a fear for myself and to learn was something I was very hesitant of, however, with my tutor I was at ease and very comfortable. She understands each step of a new driver and pushes you to do your best, her efforts and patience let me get the best out of her lessons and I’m super grateful! “Our 2 year old daughter started here 3 months ago and we are absolutely thrilled with this centre. It’s a wonderful, big, happy and exciting environment for the kids while also being surprisingly calm, and the teachers are truly wonderful. They have all been so kind and caring and have really helped to ease the transition for our daughter who has been nervous about starting kindy. You can tell that they are all truly caring and wonderful teachers. The centre also has a great routine with the kids and is well managed and privately owned which I think is a big benefit. “Don't be fooled by the cheap price! This is an A+ course. 2 x 5 hour sessions ( or 1 x 5 hour session if you cant lay aside the whoel weekend ) of full contact self defence. Charlie walks the line tactfully between providing some physical stress to somewhat mimic a real life situation and being understanding that people will bring a range of experiences to the course. I did this with my 13 year old daughter who now has the skills and attitude to survive if the worst happens. She loved the course and it was a great bonding weekend for us. Highly recommend!”

“Surfed at Muriwai surf school on Nov 15th with Myma and Thomas. Had the BEST experience!!! Myma is amazing!!! Very patient with extremely good instruction! We were in a group of 8 and everyone was able to get up ! The location is fantastic and absolutely beautiful. Both Thomas and Myma gave great instructions and kept us all very safe. Even though there were 8 of us it felt like we were in a private lesson. Both Thomas and Myma spent plenty of one on one time with everyone and we all had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!!!”
