If you're looking for outstanding theatre in an intimate setting, I highly recommend The Howick Little Theatre. Tickets prices are very reasonable and the productions are excellent! Staff are warm and welcoming too. Just a great night out.

Honestly, it's probably the best community theatre in the country. It's a big call, but consistently high standards, many professional actors regularly performing here for fun, and a passionate team makes for a great trip out east. You will not be disappointed... and how often can you say that at community theatre?
Lovely intimate theatre. The quality of the play I saw there (Grand Horizons) was fantastic. The set design was incredible and the acting was practically professional level. The price of the ticket was very reasonable, and there is a bar that you can buy drinks and snacks from. A great night out, would highly recommend.

I went to watch Precious Little. Great production in a fab local theatre. My first visit and I will go again.
Loved the experience of HLT but my only comment would be with winter coming on would they consider starting at 7.30 pm. The play I went to started at 8 pm didnt finish till near enough 11 pm. Its getting a tad late for the mostly older people who were present.
Went to see The Maltese Falcon what a great performance by all. Also a big thanks too the staff/volunteers on the night who helped us with our very suddenly ill friend. Great work team
