“Stopped in for lunch while getting a car serviced. The guy working stated they'd just opened so the wait time was longer but I wasn't in a rush, so not an issue for me. Service was friendly, food was served fresh and hot. Good lunch spot!”

“The customer service here is absolutely outstanding! The staff are so genuinely lovely, they’ll even hold the door open for you, or bring the order to your car (when I've had kids in the car). The buffalo chicken wings are hands down my favourite, always a hit! Most people don't know about the chicken wings, so please do yourself a favour and add them to your next order!! Every visit has been nothing short of perfect. Honestly, I don’t have a single complaint. Highly recommend!”

“The guy behind the counter Aidan (hopefully thats spelt right lol) Guy was a hero, went in on Fathers day as per tradition and he let us know there would be a slight wait due to Oven issues, no stress at all! It looked like he was working a solo shift which is bananas for a sunny Fathers Day! Dude never crumbled under the pressure and knew how to prioritise orders, my family and I placed a pretty sizeable order so we were expecting a long wait time since it was just him doing it all, he managed to get the small orders out fast so customers didn’t get upset, he slipped us an extra few garlic knots as an apology for the wait (hopefully I dont get him in trouble for that) Just solid, cool calm and collected service! - matt”

“Consistently great pizza from Sals Birkenhead. The manager Raj is always friendly and nice to talk to, and he makes a pretty great pizza. Sals menu is simpler than other pizza places, but higher quality and tastier - plus a large pizza is actually large from Sals. Definitely recommend Sals for a slice of New York style pizza, especially if you can get a deal or bundle.”

“Absolutely delicious food and decent service. The food couldn’t have been better absolutely chefs kiss as always! Service was good though was a bit disappointed that when the waitress poured our water she spilt quite a bit over the table and said she’d be back to clean it up but never did so we ended up using a serviette. Atmosphere was nice. Overall a really good experience. Definitely recommend if you want good food! Just bear in mind that it is pricey”

“The very best pizza place around locally. I really look forward to a nice and hot Hawaiian pizza on the odd Sunday special. Loads of toppings and a crunchy base that is delicious. I usually buy a nice and cold can or two to go with it but I only drink one then. The place is kept clean and the service is as good as the pizzas. I highly recommend this little business and owners. “These owners are BEYOND INCREDIBLE! I was tasked with bringing food to a large time sensitive function and I asked if they could have 2 large pizzas ready at 10am for pickup. To which they instantly said yes! (Note: they don't open until 1030am!) They were so kind and generous with their time. Didn't even charge a fee for the service. They came in early to cook and had the food ready precisely on time for me. So professional!! And everyone at the gathering LOVED the pizza. Couldn't get enough and needed to know where I got them from. Wonderful experience, highly recommend Sals pukekohe for your next gathering or for any pizza needs.”

“My daughter and I went for dinner tonight and we’ll definitely being going back. Each meal was well presented and delicious! Tastier than other Japanese restaurants I’ve been to. There is so much more on the menu I want to try. Was lovely just the two of us, but can imagine even better with a larger group and sharing more meals. Our meals came out with some time between them so I did get dinner envy of others I saw. But when ours arrived it was totally worth the wait. You def need to try this one. My latest east Auckland fav.”

“I though it was going to be a bad American gimmick, turned out to be a really good American gimmick. The pizza bases are good and crispy, pepperoni was my favorite. The sauce on the Buffalo wings was up there with the best I've ever had. Will be back for sure.”
