When I feel homesick for good pizza, I go to Sal's. Their quality ingredients and familiar products lessen the longing. Great mozzarella sticks, delicious double pepperoni pizza! When you're craving a slice of New York, come in over to Sal's! You'll be treated right, and they will go above and beyond to stand by their pizzas!
The pizza taste is amazing, the crust is crunchy and delicious! Ara is friednly and nice!
Amazing pizzas. Always loved these over the crappy D and PH ingredients that make you bloat. Much better variety than before. Quick and friendly service too.
Amazing pizza, one of the best Auckland has! They don't skimp out on the ingredients, and everything tastes fresh and delicious, hot out of the oven! Very friendly and welcoming staff, with good hours in case you get a craving for good pizza a bit later into the day.
Man! This is the best Sals restaurant I’ve ever been to. I normally go to Westgate but as they didn’t open till 4pm today, Lincoln Rd was the nearest one to get lunch from. This will be our new location going forward. I’d happily drive the extra 10minutes to support this store. Firstly, walking in I immediately noticed how extremely clean and tidy the restaurant was. From the toilets to the kitchen, it was immaculate. Once inside we were greeted straight away by all 3 of the staff members. All 3 of them welcomed us in and amaze sure we were okay. As we had done an online order, they advised us that our food was delayed by 3 minutes. Not a problem at all. But they insisted we accepted 2 drinks on the house for the inconvenience. I told them it was okay and 3 minutes was not a long wait but they were persistent about giving us the drinks. Man, these guys were so nice and accommodating. You could tell they took pride in their restaurant and were serious about customer service. I honestly can’t praise their service enough. 10000/10. Lastly the food. Frick man, I’ve had so many inconsistent and underwhelming Sals Pizzas in the past, but these guys deliver on taste, quantity and quality. This is the first Sals I’ve been to that actually gives you a fair amount of cheese without you having to specify or ask beforehand. The pizza was perfect for my liking. Good cheese pull, cooked well enough for a crispy base and golden topping without burning it. Also the garlic knots were top tier. My son said they were the best he’s Ever had! And he’s super fussy too. Overall, I am more than impressed. I look forward to our next order from this store. As for the staff and owners… I wish you the greatest success moving forward. You are the type of restaurateurs that should be glorified. I hope you gain many more customers from my review and that you continue to set such a high standard for other Pizza chains to aspire to. This is the worst branch of sals. Today it tasted like the oil was reused/burnt. Not sure why really but it was nasty. I'm gonna need a refund or I'm never going back. 3 or 4 times I've been to this branch, never been good.
Great food, but a bit too pricey when ordering for delivery through a third party (I am not fully mobile), which is the only thing preventing me from ordering from there more often. Taken two stars away because they've elevated their prices even higher than when I previously reviewed meaning a simple cheese pizza is now just shy of $50 by itself. With the current cost of living that's no longer worth what you get for it. Love their little garlic buns, but those have also increased astronomically in price while noticeably decreasing in size. Sadly, Sal's has become a ripoff.
Worst Sals pizza I've ever been to! Too lazy girls in there, talking trash about their private lifes, didn't follow my order, gave me overcooked pizza with a doughy crust and lack of sauce and cheese! Yuk! Won't be coming back!
5 stars for taste! the cost is also huge! I really enjoyed the black garlic Pizza but all are yummo! just wish the price was more accordable
Just had apparently !! ORIGNAL !! buffalo wings with ranch dressing. Have to Say im not very impressed the wings were drenched in hot sauce which appeared to be just different bottled sauces poured into one . Super intense spice flavour left in my mouth, it onistly just tasted like I was eating Spicy peppers in a plate could not taste the chicken at all nothing but Hot n Spicy sauce.On top of that the amount of chicken you get for a Whooping $15 is just rubbish. Pretty dissapointing. On a positive note the Cheese Pizza was good just wish I hadnt wasted my money on that dissapointment they call bufflo wings. If you are going here I would reccomend avoiding the buflo wings at all cost. =)
