“We really liked kind - so much, that we went there three times. We had great breakfast (pancakes and avocado on sourdough) and pastries (scones, pain au chocolate, savory muffin with caramelised onions, vegan meat pie with vegan cheese and vegan sausage roll). They also have lots of milk options available, one of them being macadamia milk which I’ve never seen before (oat tastes better in my humble opinion). They also offer “yesterday’s baked goods” at a discounted price that taste just as good. Definitely a must if you’re in Auckland!”

“Very nice couple , working very hard in these tough times.. but serving excellent food. In fact, this is a strange accolade, but I suspect the steak pie I had there last Friday was the BEST pie I've EVER had. Just get there to try these gourmet wonders, served with a v good salad. ( must be something in the water... I had the best chicken pie ever in RotoVegas this week.. LOL)”

“Restaurant quality lunch at very reasonable prices, everyone i bring here is amazed at this quiet and professional wee gem, tucked away in plain sight. A locals spot for sure, the staff are very polite and friendly. The coffee is consistently perfect, now a workday pilgrimage for me. I could rave about the food for a whole paragraph, so instead ill just say: $25 salmon eggs benni, just try it. “Temptation is slightly more pricey than other bakerys. But their food is also slightly better than other bakerys. The potato top pie is to die for, and the customer service is always good. “During the holiday before Christmas, while traveling in New Zealand, I discovered this hidden-gem café in Auckland. The space is simple, bright, and clean, and the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. What I have to recommend most is the portion size — generous and absolutely worth the price. It’s far better than those cafés where you pay a lot and still leave hungry. If you’re traveling and happen to be hungry, make sure you stop by this café.”

“It says Level 7 in the address, but you just go up two lots of escalators in the PWC Building to an open area where the Cafe is located. Lots of seating and the coffee is great. It's a good place for casual and business catch up, as it is centrally located and adjacent to Commercial Bay complex”

“Just stopped by for coffee but was enticed by the lovely food in the cabinet. Got a brioche instead to go with my coffee which I found exceptional. It’s a small cozy place with very nice ambiance. I could not help noticing the steady stream of people stopping by for coffee or baked products to go. Staff were vibrant and friendly which is always a plus in a hospitality setting. Will definitely be a “go to” place for me from now on.”

“We had a 50th birthday bash at Lilyworld cafe. Ordered platters and reserved some tables and watched the rugby. The service was on point and Ben was always on hand with any help and serving the food. All our guests enjoyed it so much and promised to return. The food was great! “Great lunch spot right by Kmart. The interior is very nice and felt comfortable even if they are busy. The cabinet selection was great and very enticing, and it was absolutely worth it as we tried their caramel slice which had a great balance of sweetness and texture. The classic eggs Benedict was great too and was equally impressed with the portion size for the corn fritters. Update: tried the cabinet food and was not surprised that it was good too. Fairly complex flavour for cabinet food and I especially enjoyed the chilli scramble bap. Will definitely be keen to come back and try more of the menu.”

“I tried the Paua pie and that was really nice. Had the steak and oyster my new favorite! There was a cheeseburger pie I got to try. I got drinks and cinnamon bums too. The pastry was spot on. I was passing thru to an event I never made it to. But I made it to here lolz.”
