   We had a Christmas get-together at Olea Café on 6th December, and we really enjoyed the experience. The service was excellent, with warm and welcoming hospitality throughout the event. A special mention to Sarah — she was extremely friendly and helpful. Despite being pregnant, she was very active, attentive, and professional, which truly impressed us.    We were happy about this cafe all across the board: the atmosphere was nice, felt very spacious and bathrooms were clean. Food was good and the coffee was well done. I enjoyed the matcha, not too sweet and matcha flavour was present. The portions were generous as well, I did find the bread a bit tough though, and the hash browns fell apart easily but these are nitpicks. Overall a good experience.

   Very spacious place, kids friendly, plenty car park at the front. Although salmon egg Benedict is probably the worst I’ve had - salmon and spinach are way too salty. Lunch bowl is okay.

   We visited today on a Sunday for lunch and the kids ate for free plus they got a colouring in sheet! We all absolutely loved the food! I was able to have the Eggs Benedict with bacon on ciabatta instead of an English muffin and it was divine. Hubby got the Eggs Benedict on Korean Fried Chicken with Gochuchang Sauce and said it was delicious. Kids meals came out quickly and the kids were happy. We will definitely be back!

   Highly recommend their coffee, the best I can have in the East Auckland. The owner recommended fried chicken but I personally prefer the risotto. The risotto had well balanced flavor and looked elegant. The chicken seems overcooked and a little bit dry.

   Love the ambience, good selection of cabinet food and coffee was great. Really enjoyed the eggs benedict with korean chicken. The fried chicken had the perfect balance of sweet and savour taste. May-23 Update - they bow have kid’s menu! Yippee!
