Came in Thurs 10th July midday for some takeaway lunch & coffee , staff ( 2 x young women ) were friendly & made The Best Flat White ! Had a sausage roll which was Excellent and could tell was made in house Definitely stopping in more I’m an ex barista (15yrs experience) and generally have high expectations but mostly receive below average coffee So it was awesome to receive an amazing Flat White from the Barista at Karaka General Store & Cafe Thanks so much”

“I visited this cafe with my daughter today.I ordered Flat White and Egg and Bacon muffin. Coffee is good but no good art. Food is not special, just ok. Place is enough to serve group. Interior is good. Cleanness is quite good. Service is very fast and good. Staffs are kind. Recommend for morning tea and coffee break.”

“Had one of their award winning Steak n Cheese pies. It was everything you'd want from a pie - flakey pastry on top, soft on bottom, delicious flavours, tender steak, golden on top. Not the cheapest at $7 but definitely worththe stop if you're after a good pie.”

It may only have four tables, but the food is what truly steals the show. We ordered lamb flaps, chicken, chips, and taro, and every bite was amazing! The lamb flaps were perfectly tender and flavourful, the chicken was juicy, and the taro added a unique touch that made the meal feel extra special. Despite its small size, it’s worth every minute of the 1-hour drive I made to get there! The best part? Our total bill, including a 600ml Coke, came to just $33, and both of us left feeling full and satisfied. This is the kind of hidden gem that you'll want to visit again and again. “Lovley wee Cafe. Plenty of outside seating, on a nice deck, with ample parking spaces right outside. Had Eggs Benedict with salmon. Eggs were perfectly poached with a plentiful amount of smoked salmon. The best latte I've had for ages! Definitely reccomed this Cafe, next time I'll be trying the whitetail fritters”

“Eaten brunch here a couple of times. Eggs bene and avo on toast. Good both times. Has become a regular stop for a coffee and cake after a dog walk. There are 2 doors, so ordering and counter food is done in the back corner. You can then walk outside to the diner and take a seat. Makes for a nice quiet area to chat while waiting for food as no coffee machine working! Dog friendly and outside seating area for firry friends.”

“Cafe Tran has a good selection of dishes on offer and at very reasonable prices. Ordered a Steak Burger and Chips ($21.90), which was prepared to perfection. Nothing was oily or overpowering, but just right flavours to compliment the dish. My better half ordered an Eggs Benedict ($19.90) which had very nice flavour and not too small in size.”

Very interesting twist to the standard beef burger, the bulgogi patty gave it a sweeter taste. Missus had the Creamy Mushroom, and says its good. When she says anything is good...
