“Amazing coffee and cheese scone! would recommend booking in advance as on weekend they can get very busy, lucky to get a table without booking the other day. had salmon dish and creamed paua, the price is def higher for the portion you get but the quality and taste makes up for it. and the coffee is def the best in Auckland imo, I would come back even just for a cup of coffee and cheese scone. They are also pet friendly, so easy to take your dog walking around marina afterwards”

“Phenomenal meal at The Chefs Indian Restaurant last night. This is a true “hidden gem”, tucked away in Howick where you wouldn’t expect it. The food was very high quality - delicious entrees, mains and breads. The staff were friendly and kind and generous. The cost was very fair and great value for money. “A hidden gem in Gleneden, if you are after tasty fried kchicken look no further. Dined here for dinner as first timers after reading reviews and now we understand why this place has a high rating. Very friendly customer service. We were welcomed with big smiles and served right away. Sushi was 100% tasty and the fried chicken with mini hashbites were the best I have had. Flavour and coating was just too good, you know the chicken is good when you dont need to add the side sauces on. Prices very reasonable too. With a wide range to try. Incredible value for money, the flavours were great and presentation beautiful. Ended it off with the Mango ice cream which was perfect - fruity but not too sweet. You couldn't fault the service. Friendly, professional and educated on Indian cuisine. The atmosphere and environment was vibrant but chill. Lovely acoustic music playing - not too loud which can happen a lot at restaurants. “A very memorable restaurant. Slightly mysterious unassuming very plain exterior but inside it's a whole different story! A lot of protocols being followed by the staff which create a special atmosphere. Food amazingly tasty. Every sauce is so tasty I was scraping my plate! The raw fish is the best I've ever tasted. The set menu is very good value and exactly what they promise - a taste adventure. Better make a reservation as they were full after we came and turned away several groups after us. I've never tasted Korean food like this or seen the rituals before. Beautiful attention to detail and highly organized preparation. An experience you'll want to repeat!”
