First time having dinner here and I was very impressed. The food was delicious and their service was good too. Highly recommend and will be coming back more often! Thank you for a good experience :-) also dog friendly! Took both our dogs with us.

My new favourite spot! Creamy mushroom were perfect. The sauce is deliciously creamy and tangy without being too rich for brunch. Staff are prompt and friendly. Cute outdoor tables, lovely for a sunny morning like today

This was a great meal to end our time in New Zealand. The restaurant has a nice and calm atmosphere and the service was excellent. The fish and chips meal was great and the vanilla latte and feijoa kombucha were the perfect topper to a wonderful meal. (I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the meal!)

Such a cute and cozy local cafe with bright staff. The place was clean, free of bugs and dust. Food and drinks came out quickly and was very delicious. Everything was well seasoned and flavoured. Nothing overly salty or bland. Eggs were perfectly poached too. Very decent prices- will be back again soon!

Yummy food tucked away in Whenuapai. Can get a little packed when it's busy but the good food makes up for it. No unnecessary extras, just ingredients that go well together.

Puriri cafe is the best cafe in Herald island and whenupai. They are famous for their salmon Benedict and creamy mushroom. They have atomic coffee on the grinders and are fully licenced so you can enjoy a wine or beer! If you are in the area you have to come here for breakfast on weekdays or weekends. We ordered the scallop bacon salad, chicken skewers and scallop morsels. After it came up, we found that it was too rich, and the salad was full. The most important thing is that the scallops and bacon are full of pot gas, and the scallops are very tender. It turned out that they were fried in the teppanyaki way. It is rare to see Teppanyaki as a cooking tool in Auckland coffee shops.

The food here is consistently delicious! The staff are always very friendly. Nice large benches to sit at outside when it is sunny and to bring your pooch with you too. My go to is the halloumi on toast + the mango smoothie - YUM! Very reasonable prices. Can also recommend the cream donut!

Delicious food & drink Great value Friendly wait staff Very quick service Good music Clean toilet We had French Toast, Eggs on toast with avocado & mushroom, summer berry smoothie and an iced vanilla oat milk latte. Next time I’ll ask for two straws as the paper straws tend to deteriorate if you don’t drink fast enough. My only other advice would be the table was a little bit sticky. All around great little spot with lots of charm and atmosphere, we will be back.
