   They have books and tea, what could be better? Decent team, lovely place. No toilet tho. They have heaps of tea and a section for you to smell. They don’t have all the tea in the world but there should be plenty for you to choose from.

   This is an excellent tea shop with a truly exquisite range of teas lose and bags. Knowledgeable and friendly staff gave me some good recommendations. It is also a book store (though there is also a wonderful book shop a few doors down. It’s a lovey shop to enjoy some rest and relaxation. They have a nice range of nibbles too. It is an oasis of delight.

   Wonderful tea selection, truly massive! And so many books, definitely worth a visit for a browse or a sit down. Had a lemon tart from the cabinet, which was yum. Staff were so warm and friendly, and very good at recommending teas. I will definitely be back!

   I cannot believe I’ve lived here 9 years and not been in this gem before. I am fussy about my black leaf tea and I always ship a particular brand from overseas. No longer! They blended some black for me based on my requirements and their knowledge, and I am really enjoying it. And now I have a little card in their shop w my specifications for future visits. This will always be my go-to now. Plus, they have books. What’s not to like?

   Frances was so lovely throughout my ordering process. She was always very timely with correspondence and was always able to provide me with the answers to all of my questions about international shipping. The book arrived in pristine condition thanks to the delicate packing. I would highly recommend ordering from this store!

   I don't have the heart to leave you anything other than 5 stars - but you lost customers today. I came with my family to sit and have drinks, but there was a local Mt Eden guy (with the long white beard) just sitting at the outside table doing his business on his cell phone without ordering or drinking anything. The staff told me he had been there a long time without ordering. We can only sit outside because we're immunocompromised. We asked staff if they could maybe speak to him, but they ignored that. I understand if your staff is intimidated by him. But your shop is small, you've only got one outdoor table, and your tea is incredible. So you should definitely be sorting out people who occupy your space for ages without buying anything. We went down the block, had a sad inferior tea, walked back by and he was STILL there.. still with nothing on the table. Your patrons are counting on you to control this behaviour from inconsiderate people like this. Otherwise we can't visit your shop. It takes a lot for us to go out - it's not easy with a baby. So when this happened it was quite disappointing.

   Frances was absolutely amazing. Communication was timely and helpful and they went above and beyond to help me decide options of books and shipping, including providing clear price breakdowns. The books arrived to Canada in excellent condition and well packaged. I am so appreciative of their willingness to ship outside of New Zealand and how easy they made it. I would definitely buy from this store again as they were absolutely lovely to work with.

   I've been buying from Frances for about 15 years (before online orders were a thing!) She and the staff are honestly so amazing and always go out of the way to provide the best possible experience. Highly recommend a visit or purchase for anyone who loves books and tea! Chapter will always be my go to place, they're so good you never need to go anywhere else!

   Had a try of their hot chat latte and matcha latte in cold the other day. Both tatsed absolutely silky and smooth. Spent a peaceful and relaxing afternoon there reading some books and daydreaming for a bit. Would love to go again some time in the weekend!! Definitely recommend this place to all ages!! :)
