   Amazing food and service, last minute spot we found and so happy we found this little cute spot! The portions are great, highly recommend the Tom yum. We were 2 kids and 2 adults, they were so lovely to my little ones and even hooked them up with a wee snack at the end and it made their day! Will definitely visit again!

   I absolutely love Makiin Thai. I always go for the Som Tum salad, and it never disappoints. It's consistently very tasty and perfectly refreshing, with that great balance of lemon juice, fish sauce, and garlic. The service is equally wonderful, the team is so lovely, very friendly, and always serves you with a smile. Highly recommend.

   The food here was really flavourful, I especially enjoyed the pad thai and thai fried rice. Portions are generous. The tom yum was not as sour as much Id like, but still enjoyable. The chilli flakes are nice and tasty. Would definitely come back and try the other dishes. There's really not a lot of seats, if coming for dinner prepare to either wait or get takeaway.

   Delicious authentic Thai food, so many dishes I want to try. Pity I live so far away! Super friendly owners, a bit pricey but I guess cost of production, and rent are all going up. Note to the owner: I understand why the reason behind why takeaway and dine in prices can differ but rather than setting different price points, just offer a blanket 15% discount for all takeaways. This way you don’t piss people off.

   Seriously legit Thai food not your western watered down version. The version that beats local in Thailand. Food was full of flavours. Every single dish was made with care. Slightly pricy but we know how crazy expensive everything is nowadays! Thank you for feeding me I enjoyed everything I ordered.

   [Thai Fried Rice] It has nice flavor especially you can taste the flame flavor. Seems it's been cooked in a wok with a high heat. Anyway, I think it is a good portion for up to 2 people.

   A hidden gem in a suburb . Both the meal and the service were outstanding. This is where you should go if you're looking for authentic Thai food in Auckland. Booking in advance is advised because it's frequently very busy.

   This is my first time getting takeaway from here. I used to visit the previous Thai place. We ordered the fried rice, sweet n sour pork, mixed entrées and stir fry garlic and pepper chicken. The flavours and taste are amazing. I wish I had ordered a bit more spicy fried rice. The curry puffs were superb. Everything was fantastic and the presentation was great as well. Will definitely be back.
