One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, everything moved painfully slowly. We waited close to an hour just to get our food, with no clear explanation or apology for the delay. This wasn’t a busy-night excuse either β€” it was simply poor organisation and lack of care. Even the simplest things took forever. When we were told they had no ice cream, that alone took about 10 minutes to communicate, as if checking stock was some major task. A fork was dropped at the table, and it somehow took another long wait just to get a replacement. These are basic expectations at any restaurant, let alone one charging full prices. The service felt completely unprofessional and inattentive. Staff seemed disorganised, slow to respond, and uninterested in fixing obvious problems. No one checked in properly, and there was no sense of urgency at any point. By the time the food arrived, the experience was already ruined. When customers are waiting an hour for food and 10 minutes for a fork, something is seriously wrong. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are far better Indian restaurants that respect your time and money. Avoid unless you enjoy waiting endlessly for basic service.

Food was well prepared, full of flavor as promised. Very friendly service and calm atmosphere They were accommodating with a little baby and seating arrangement. Good portions and great selection.

The food was delicious and service was prompt, our waiters polite and friendly. Between our group of three we had butter chicken, chicken korma, saagwala and naans, plus our eyes were too big for our tummies and we got chicken tikka for an appetiser too - they were all delicious though and somehow we finished everything. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating here again next the.

We had such a good time at Junoon Indian Cuisine. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully cooked – the starters especially were a hit. The staff were really friendly and looked after us well. The place itself has a warm vibe with lovely dΓ©cor, which made the whole evening even better. Definitely a spot I’d be happy to come back to.

Exceptional Service and Homely Cuisine at Junoon It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The service was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Each dish was prepared with care, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to an Indian kitchen. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every In summary, Junoon offers not just a meal, but an experience. The exceptional service, combined with the homely, delicious food and pleasant ambiance, makes it a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic Indian dining experience.

Incredible food and friendly, professional service. Have been a number of times to eat in and for takeaway and never been disappointed. Chill prawns starter, prawn malabri, lamb saagwala, dal makhani, and butter paneer have all been so good!

Had dinner here last night and was super suprised at how amazing the food was! Quite a humble and unassuming restaurant but the food is delicious! We ordered the fried mushroom starter, butter chicken, fenugreek lamb dish and garlic cheese naaan and 2 wines/beers each. Flavours 10/10 - probably the best Indian I’ve ever had in Auckland and such great value for money. Staff were super lovely and attentive too :) great experience- thank you

Curry is amazing. The Junoon special chicken curry and the goat curry are seriously epic. So epic, I’ve had takeaway 3 weeks in a row and can’t go past these 2 dishes. I need to branch out!!! Yes, they are a little more expensive, but the guy I spoke to told me why : all home made, all natural - no colouring etc. it’s the real deal, very supportive and I will be back to try something else. Highly recommended (and I’ve been to a few curry places in the eastern suburbs - this is the best for sure). Have not dined in, but always feels like a good atmosphere and guy is always really friendly.

Excellent food. Vegetarian platter was fried very well. Samosas were delicious as well. Could have more creative curries though? But the staple ones we tried were done very well.

Best Indian meal in Auckland β™₯️ We had a fabulous meal, small tasty onion bahi, goat curry, house special chicken curry and lamb rogan Josh, each tasty and unique. Delicious breads, reasonably good wine list. Looking forward to visiting again already. 5 ⭐️
