Was really wanting to have Indian while on holiday. We found this restaurant, and it was amazing. The service was great, customer friendly service, and the food was by far the best I have had. I got so full eating my meal but I couldn’t stop, it was too delicious. Will definitely be going back there when I visit again
Ordered a takeaway saag paneer and it was amazing. Nice friendly staff. Really good flavor, much better than other Indian takeaway around. Garlic naan was filled with herbs and garlic. Got the all day special and split between two- was the perfect amount. Would highly recommend.
We've enjoyed lots of Indian food in north India, the UK and all over the world and the food here really is up there with the best. If you want an authentic curry with great flavour and spices, give them a try. Also plenty of options for vegs and vegans. 5 stars
Came to Khana after being recommended by a local. I'll definitely be recommending it to others! My mother and I each got the $20 Thali meal. Incredible value for money, the flavours were great and presentation beautiful. Ended it off with the Mango ice cream which was perfect - fruity but not too sweet. You couldn't fault the service. Friendly, professional and educated on Indian cuisine. The atmosphere and environment was vibrant but chill. Lovely acoustic music playing - not too loud which can happen a lot at restaurants. Overall, would come here again in a heartbeat!
A few weeks ago our party of four went for dinner - the restaurant is clean, warm and inviting. The service was awesome - the Maître d is very charismatic, attentive and accommodating. The food is delicious, fast and hot; cannot recommend enough!
Best people as we went late and they still allow us to eat there … very warm and hospitable environment for the people who want to have quiet dinners.
What an amazing evening to have authentic Indian food and that too on my uncle’s 50th! A must try is the garlic naan and cauliflower florets. Great food and service + the owner is amazing who greets you well and Teresa was quick to serve you. Great stuff guys, keep it up!
In the dark murky waters that is New Zealand Cuisine, there exists a light on the top of a hill in Devonport at which those seeking out a delightful meal of substance and spice may find refuge. For the past 5 days in this flavorless country I have been unable to finish or even approach a meal with any manner of urgency or hunger. That streak ended tonight at Khana, where my party and I ordered a number of dishes at the spiciest "INDIAN SPICY" level and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves patting the our sweaty foreheads and full puku's. Great food, amazing service (you'd think they were working for tips) 10/10 would recommend, will be returning.
