“Such a lovely spot! I came in to have lunch and get a bit of work done, and I ended up staying longer than planned because I felt so good there. The staff were absolutely adorable, the tea was delicious, and there were plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options. My meal was rich and comforting, and the tart for dessert was amazing, a bit much for just me, but can’t complain about that. I’ll definitely be back, either by myself or with friends! ✨”

“I got a birthday cake for my daughter from JM Cakery recently. I found ordering on the website very easy. The cake looked amazing, just like the photo on the website. It tasted incredible, all our guests loved it. We got a 10-inch floral vintage heart cake and it was the perfect size for 21 people with a generous serving. When we collected the cake we also got some cupcakes and they were delicious. Definitely would order again, highly recommend!”

“Gateau House is a dream for chocolate lovers! Their chocolate cake is rich, moist, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, with a deep cocoa flavour that melts in your mouth. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had. The presentation is beautiful, and the texture is just right—light but indulgent. The store itself is warm and inviting, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Whether it’s for a celebration or a treat-yourself moment, Gateau House delivers every time. Tables inside and outside available with weather coverage for the damper days. Highly recommend you make the stop if you're in the area. Treat yourself!”

“Very tasty pies I have ordered steak cheese jalapeño pie the best pie I ever had! Wanted to try there sausage rolls but they only do pork not lamb but overall very tasty pie and boiling hot as well good winter munch!”

“Awesome food, we had the chicken stack and French toast both were well priced and super tasty. One of the best cafes on the shore. Awesome vegan and vege options and offer a discount if you bring your own cup for takeaways. Decor was slightly aged and could do with a bit of a tickle up but had a nice homely feel and staff were friendly. Will definitely be back.”

“THIS PLACE! I flew in on Auckland and by accident stumbled on this little gem. I never had carrot cake... Needless to say it was DELICIOUS. Homemade, owner bakes it himself. The atmosphere is also wonderfull. I went around NZ after this first cake... Never had the same taste in my mouth again! Until I visited back when I had to leave NZ... Each bite is perfect! Staff is soo friendly and genuine trying to build something nice up. It's a pity a lot of old reviews are bringing this score down (it was the previous owner), because it deserves a freaking big score ❤️ It is a small caffee, so expect when it's busy some waiting time to get in.”

“We stopped by for muffins and coffee. The cinnamon muffins were huge and very tasty. The proprietor was helpful and made sure we got large muffins since we looked hungry. He’d made them himself that morning. The coffee was good and strong as well. We didn’t grab sandwiches for lunch, but they were on display in the case and looked delicious.”

“Was at Golden Apple Henderson few days ago. Great shopping outlet for Asian groceries with wide variety of goods. Goods were very well stocked and displayed for easy access and the place was very clean and pleasant to shop. Friendly service too. Highly recommended for shoppers who want a happy shopping environment and experience.”

“All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and take their jobs seriously. The place is clean, tidy and has a great atmosphere. I usually eat in the separate area upstairs which is a more quieter , away from the hustle and bustle. Also there is a great little spot for young children to play while you eat. Their french toast dish is presented beautifully and very satisfying as it comes with bacon as well. Our favourite is the potato hash, it's a very generously sized dish with varying textures and tasty complementary flavours. Their blueberry cheesecake is the perfect balance of real fruit, textures and richness and flavour. With amazing customer service to boot - This is a Onehunga Gem!”

“Temptation is slightly more pricey than other bakerys. But their food is also slightly better than other bakerys. The potato top pie is to die for, and the customer service is always good. Will be coming back. Also, once I asked them to make a custom steak and cheese potato top, and they did. Pretty cool.”

“I went to Caffe E Cucina for a tinder date (which went pretty well, I think she likes me!) for lunch, and had a great time. We ordered different kinda small plates from the prima section of the menu and shared those which worked well as we weren't super hungry. The service was good, and prices not toooo bad. The food was definitely the highlight (after the company) with everything cooked to perfection. Seared tuna blew my mind.”

We started with the mezze platter…The pillowy, fresh pita paired beautifully with the creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, and smooth labneh. The pickled veggies added the perfect punch, and the falafel was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside—some of the best falafels I’ve had in a while. For mains, we shared the halloumi and chicken along with a variety of sides. I’m already planning my next visit—especially during the day so I can have their famous hot cross buns! If you're looking for comforting, authentic Middle Eastern flavours in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, Ima Cuisine is a must-visit. Highly recommend :)”

“Very impressed! Very busy with locals, truckies and tradies, always a sign of good food and service. A real value for money place to either stop and eat or pick up yummy, tasty cabinet food. Keep an eye out on the main road for it, especially if you have the kids with you. Good old icecreams and milkshakes too. Spotlessly clean, as are the toilets.”
