“Update: its been a couple of yesrs since I first reviewed here. It feels like it maybe has new ownership. The cooked menu is offering all options now. Staff are still friendly, service, cabinet and coffee are good. Under new management since last time I was here. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Staple bakery items are still available but quite a few cooked menu items are no longer available. The coffee is now by Allpress, but the coffee training needs some work as my coffee was poorly extracted, the texture light and watery and the milk texture had too much air.”

“I had the Big Kiwi breakfast for lunch, it was just delicious. The scrambled eggs was creamy, the tomato was charred cooked, bacon crispy, hash brown hot, soft inside and crispy outside, fried mushrooms an the sausage were tasty with bits of cheese in them, two slices of a type of bread and butter, washed down with english breakfast tea. Just thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had just a pie and coke.”

“Can’t be too fussy, Hollywood is great, it’s a flash bakery. Good Kai, Great for casual eat in, handy location at the shops. Lucky for us in NZ food is plenty and everywhere. Hollywood for one is a great quick stop in for a rushed lunch after being in the rat race of Westgate and you need to stop for a mo. Kia ora.”

“I have been over the place! This morning, I was thinking to go and buy random bread so as I was driving on my way to work, stopped by this small bakery. Mind you it was 630am, saturday..no traffic. Quiet place. Not a busy morning but people drop by and stop to buy here so I checked it out. People, listen! Try their buns in cococream! 5$ for 6 bread and it's the best breakfast you'll have, paired with a cuppa! It's freshly baked bread, sitting on this white, creamy coco sauce, just the right sweetness! Check out my photos, I enjoyed every bite of this one! My curiousity is worth it! It's the only food that caught my attention so I didn't got to taste some of their food, otherwise they deserve to be tried and tested! Friendly staff too! Will be back for those buns, i can't move on! It's just so yum!”

“BEST bacon and egg pie I've had EVER! We had planned on eating at a cafe but couldn't find one open on ANZAC day in the area so we decided to try this local bakery and we weren't disappointed. Hot chips and fried chicken were hot and flavorful. Bacon and egg pie and chicken and mushroom pie were bomb! Mocha was just the right temp and was equally as delicious as the food. We'll definitely be back if we're out south again :) !”
