“We heard from hubby's mates about this place and how they have the best chicken & chips. Better than kfc & Joe's Cook. So tonight we tried it for the first time. We brought the Monster Munch it had 8 thigh pieces and 8 drums sticks with jumbo box of chips and 2 large potatoes and gravy. Well I have to say the rumors were definitely true. The chicken were freshly cooked to perfection and juicy. The potatoes and gravy were a hit with my kids and the chip's were fresh and crispy especially when you dunk it in the the potatoes and gravy. They also had these different salts there for you to pick from to use on your chips. Would definitely be going back that's for sure.”

“***I highly recommend Paul and the team at Challenge Pauatahanui*** - excellent customer service - community focused values and support - good prices, especially with the card - they stock Maycey’s packet lollies (smokers, jelly beans etc) For a good couple of years we lived in this area and they became our local gas station. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming especially Paul and his daughter's. They have a real sense of community about them and always took the time to banter and have a laugh. My heavily tattooed partner can often be misjudged because of his looks but not here - they got to know him well and he’s always appreciated that! They are huge pillar in the community and I have so much admiration for their support with community fundraisers and promoting local businesses. There are very few people and businesses like this anymore which is so sad when once upon a time it was the norm. So we must show our support and appreciation by choosing their services wherever we can. Thank you Paul and team so much for all you do and your amazing service! We'll definitely be back whenever we’re up those ways :D”
