I wish all businesses were like this one: small and dedicated to their craft. Coffee makes you melt, scones are marvelous and bagels are delish! 10 out of 10. Good place!
Ordered an iced latte it was lovely. So thick and rich, it was my first time having an iced coffee that wasn’t bland at all even after all the ice had melted. The barista was kind and would love to stay there for a coffee if I had the chance. would definitely go there again.
My daughter took a class with Matt before she heads to uni so she can have the skill to potentially get some work during studies. She so enjoyed it and declared it was the best coffee she’s tasted and that she never knew coffee was such a precise exercise and can now really appreciate how to make a great cup. She enjoyed how he taught her and explained it all along with some tips on the artwork up top! Awesome job and well worth the investment.
Best coffee in town. Beautiful spot to sit. Enjoyed a Gluten free option of 2 loafs. I went with the banana Toasted with butter YUM!
Really impressed with the coffee and loves the carrot loaf. This is a wee place tucked away with a few indoor tables and a few outdoor ones on the paved car free street. Super friendly service and the kids loved the cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing. Lots of people coming in for coffee, so it must be good!
Cute little spot with great coffee, hot choc and service. Great for takeaway not so much for a sit down. I'll definitely stop by when in the bay next.
Fantastic small specialty coffee place run by an excellent local barista - the standard espresso blend is great but the single origin offerings are special. Easily top 3 for coffee in Tauranga
Ever since leaving Melbourne I’ve struggled with finding good coffee, until now. We go here every Saturday to get our coffee fix and it never disappoints. Matt is so lovely as well! Worth the trip over the bridge because you won’t find coffee like this in the mount.
You know you get good coffee here when there is consistently delicious long blacks and consistently beautiful latte art. Mount Zion is the best small cafe in the strand. I personally am a repeat customer. Some honorable mentions are their iced coffee, long black, and their banana cake. The banana cake is perfection grilled into a heavenly slice of bliss.
