Had a lovely bottomless brunch with friends. Food was tasty and the drinks kept flowing

We shared the halloumi for starters which was absolutely first class. (I should have ordered more) The waitress was so helpful. Unfortunately because of allergies I couldn’t have either of the dishes I wanted but settled on the lamb burger which was cooked well but was bland. My 2 companions enjoyed their pizza and pasta dishes. And dessert was good. I would definitely dine there again.

Sadly disappointed with the food we received last night. The Prawn toast was not what you'd expect if you're a prawn toast fan. It was just prawns on toast...couple of slices of grilled bread with a few Prawns on top. When ordering the steak the server explained the Wagu wasn't available and it would be a rump steak. What came to the table was a small rump roast. Surprised that someone who is cooking for living would attempt to use that cut of meat and cook it as you would a steak. Once the outer inch of the meat was eaten, the rest was unchewable. The pork belly, though cooked nicely, was hard to enjoy when served on a bed of cold pickled cabbage & lukewarm 'hospital' mashed potato. The pizza was pretty good except for the chunks of beef on it, which were tough and overcooked. The icecream sundae and sticky date pudding were the best offerings of the night. Thankfully, we were on 1st table so only had to pay half price. With drinks, cost $170+ for 3 of us. Disappointing birthday treat for one of our table.

We had a lovely evening at The Millhouse in Tauriko. For entrées, we shared southern fried chicken, crumbed calamari, oven baked Camembert with walnuts and crispy sidewinders, with the Camembert being a standout. Our main was a Cajun lamb pizza with kumara on a thin, crispy base, which was full of flavour and very satisfying. Drinks were equally impressive, especially a cocktail with Scapegrace Black gin that I’ll definitely be buying for home. The rustic and cozy atmosphere, complete with a warm fireplace, made the whole experience relaxed and welcoming. Overall, great food, great drinks, and a place worth revisiting.

The food was great here. We had the duck and pork belly. Both had lovely sauces and vege sides. Decent portions and fast, friendly service.

Service was extremely rude kept being told “just one minute” in a super abrupt tone when trying to order our food every time we were trying to add the next item to the order. Staff member was very aggressive and most the staff looked like they hated life. Had to get up and ask for menus because they said they would be right back and didn’t come back after 10 minutes of waiting. Probably the most revolting coffee we have ever had was burnt and fowl. Had to wait almost an hour for eggs on toast and couple of pancakes after already waiting 20 minutes to order total wait time 1.5 hours is ridiculous when the place wasn’t even busy. If you are experiencing over the normal wait times it’s probably something you should advise your customers. Food came out and the pancakes were not advised they were blueberry on the menu person whose meal it is cannot eat blueberries. Ended up going in and paying for coffees and not food as we didn’t touch it and weren’t going to wait another minute for food to be remade. Server was extremely rude when we said we weren’t paying for food. Definitely don’t recommend and will not be back.

finding somewhere to enjoy my off day, just passby here and feel like wanted to explore this Cafe. the atmosphere and service were pretty good. I ordered a special of the day, brownie with ice cream sandwich and a mocha, cost me around $21 total, which consider okay not too expensive. probably the cafe that I will visit again!

This establishment has a great selection of menu items. They are a bit on the pricey side, but the quality is good. The staff are lovely and the ambience is very cool. Can’t complain about the service, even though we were in a big group.
