Bambina Pizzeria keeps things pizza-first and focused on flavour. Music and pace keep a casual tone. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. Plates offer plenty without tipping heavy. A sensibl...
“Wow! Cannot rate this lovely local store highly enough. Within half an hour of ordering, the dress I had my eye on was ready for pickup. Fantastic, prompt communication as well. And, I couldn't be happier with the dress! I will certainly be shopping here again.”
“This is the second time we've had Pizza Pesto cater for a birthday. Each time the service is above and beyond - Angela was incredibly helpful even on short notice to deliver for our event. The pizzas arrived hot and our guests all asked where we got them from! The butter chicken one was a real crowd pleaser in particular. One guest even said it was the best catered birthday party he'd been too! Thanks for going above and beyond in every respect!”
“Really delicious food and great quantity sizes. Will definitely try make this a regular place to eat!”
“Great quality sushi with a nice variety and great pricing. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Auckland.”
“It's half-price when I went there after 4pm. I felt much better. As you know, prices in New Zealand are too high. There was sushi for vegetarian and there were various kinds of fried food. The fried food was sweet and delicious because it had chili sauce on it. It was a satisfying meal. I want to try Donburi next time. All the food in Marusushi looks delicious.”
“After reading and hearing all the amazing feedback from the local community, I had to try a Burger and Chips. The Chicken Burger was Huge and full of Real ingredients, I went with the Chicken Aloha Burger. The seasoning was perfect, the flavor combinations with bacon and pineapple were exciting and filling! *Real Chicken lovely and Tender, the salad components all fresh and crispy. I couldn't finish all the chips myself, the aoli sauce just topped it all off well. Highly Recommend!! If your passing through Hellensville, pop in and try one of their meals. Delicious and Fresh !!”
“Seriously the best pizza in Auckland! The staff are always so friendly and the atmosphere lovely. We love their gorgeous pizzas so much we had to share them with our friends and family at our wedding! Wayne was a dream to work with to cater our celebration and so many great comments from guests.”
“A hidden gem that serves up some fantastic ramen and other dishes. Went here with my fiancée to grab some ramen and katsu after a long day of adventures and hikes. They are in a rather odd location, a warehouse district with no discerning signs of a restaurant in the heart of it. However if you have the drive it has definitely worth a stop. Staff is super friendly and dishes come out piping hot. Would just mention that there isn’t a ton of seating inside and outside so larger parties may run into some obstacles there. However a more intimate dinner date is easy.”
“Was an absolutely amazing place. The food is incredibly delicious. A lot better than Domino’s or Pizza Hut and was so fast we were in the car and got distracted and he came and delivered it to us. What a place, would recommend”
“Great service and food. Would definitely come back”
“Top notch Napoli-style pizza, the best in the area. Crisp bases and fresh toppings with punchy flavours. The packs of pre-made bases are worth getting too, for days when you want to make something at home. Highly recommended!”
“Alright everybody, in my opinion, this is the best sushi in Auckland. I’ve been going there every week, and the sushi is always super fresh and delicious. Honestly, I’ve tried lots of sushi spots around Auckland, but this one is hands down the BEST in the city.”
“This Japanese restaurant in Newmarket is such a delightful gem, offering you delicious menu with high quality ingredients with authentic flavours. The chef is amazing, she cooks succulent chicken with a healthy mix of tsukemono and options to choose purple rice. Even their miso soup comes with chopped tofu. They change their tsukemono on different days. So far the karaage chicken and teriyaki chicken are delicious, feels like a hearty Japanese home cooking. Give them a whirl — just across the Newmarket train station!”
“Loved this place. Food is so tasty. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. I was over visiting New Zealand and he was made sure I had a great meal. Fantastic service and again the food is delicious. Located at East Ridge Eatery which allows groups to choose from different restaurants but still sit together.”
“Amazing fantastic tiny pizza. And real delicious loaded fries. So good. Great service”
“SCORE: 85/100 I saw that Due Amici had a lot of positive reviews in Google, so I gave this a go. Booked a day before for two and had no problems. They were extremely busy, which reflects their ratings clearly. Had their signature pizza, which was great and a pasta dish I forget the name of. Both were great. I would definitely go back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend.”
“Ordered two beef salads and two Pad Thai’s - best Pad Thai in Wellington- this is honestly the best takeaway place in Johnsonville- love all their meals!”
“Always excellent customer service being provided by staff especially the woman celebrating her birthday today.”
“It's a take out place. The food was amazing. They are not kidding on the level of Sichuan”
“We like that it’s a small hole in the wall brick oven pizza place. Perfect for in and out. It is very nice, comfortable and welcoming. Fast & friendly service and pizza was superb. We got the Carne. Crust was thin, soft on the inside and a perfect slight chewiness on the outside. Also perfect amount of sauce & cheese. We totally enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend this place.”
“The food was exceptionally prepared and presented. It was full of flavour and melted in your mouth. Loved the extra details and the friendly service. We had the set menu and it is well balanced and just exquisite. This restaurant never disappoints.”
“Dined at Oikos for the first time this evening, and we will definitely be back. We ordered a variety of dishes to share – the lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken skewers were delicious, and the honey feta was lovely. The portion sizes aren’t massive, but this is the sort of restaurant you’d visit for the experience and the quality of flavours, rather than to leave feeling absolutely full. My only suggestions would be to provide salt and pepper on the tables and to consider offering some non-alcoholic wine options. Warm service and a lovely atmosphere – many thanks!”
“This place is hands down the best sushi spot in Christchurch. What sets it apart is the great variety of organic and vegan options they offer. The flavors are absolutely amazing and the staff is lovely and freindly. They've nailed the modern Japanese vibe, all without breaking the bank. I'd totally recommend it!”
“Had some really delicious Japanese food today! It’s not strictly traditional. It’s more of a Japanese fusion style and everything was super tasty. The atmosphere was great and the service was fantastic.”
On the plate at Arbour Woodfired Pizza and Bar, the idea is pizza‑first and well judged. Grill work shows a clean sear and rested meats. Meat‑free options are woven into the menu. Service stays present without fuss.
Nori table - The Tannery leans into a pan‑Asian comfort approach with tidy execution. The room sits relaxed with an easy buzz. Dumplings and bowls carry clear, direct flavours. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy.
“It's not the cheapest sushi but the selection is great and the premises is very nice and easy to order from. Lovely high ceiling and nice furniture. Even the wooden chopsticks and soy bottles feel premium compared to other sushi restaurants. I would advise eating in rather than takeway.”
The kitchen at Teppanyaki Takao takes a simple, bistro‑style path and lets the food speak. A family‑friendly feel comes through naturally. The team keeps things friendly and organised. Portions are generous yet well judged.
“Exceptional. I had the teriyaki and tempura bento. So nice and fresh. Super quick too!”
