“We decided to try this place after asking some diners who were just leaving if they enjoyed there food. Nice clean premises with an eclectic decor. We were seated with menus & hot Jasmine tea. So hard to choose from the beautiful pics in the menu! We ordered two types of fried dumplings, a pork dish and a beef dish. Food came out fast, nice big portions and full of flavour! Since I had heard their roti is popular, I ordered it along with a curry chicken laksa. Even though it was a Wednesday, the place still had a nice crowd. The laksa was hearty and delicious, and the roti was perfect for dipping. Definitely a place I would recommend!”

“Golden Silk Thai is a special place where very good food can be found. I am not unfamiliar with Golden Silk as the family have been getting take aways there for years. “WOW, my 3rd visit to this establishment for celebrating birthdays and today a MOTHERS DAY high tea experience! This was outstanding, the wait staff really looked after our table despite the cheek I gave them all. The place settings and tea selection was first class, then came the delicious high tea style food plus hot savouries absolutely amazing and super delicious we managed to eat everything presented! After our feasting we all went for a stroll around the beautiful property, fantastic a wonderful place for wedding photo shoot! Oh and the venue of course. “Fantastic Thai restaurant we stumbled upon as we were early for an event. The servings were generous, with perhaps a little too much meat (or so my fiance thought, though I thought it was perfect). They actually listened to us when we asked for it to be hot, as too often I get served "European hot" which is mild at best. The prices were also very low. Despite being 20 minutes drive from home, this will likely now be our go to place for Thai.”
