“Riverside Cantina is a fantastic bar with an excellent cocktail selection. The espresso martini was enjoyable, and the spicy margarita was outstanding. There is ample seating, although it is shared with other restaurants.”

“Wow what an amazing place! First time in the staff Greeted me with a welcoming G'day. Unfortunately I'm gluten free (celiac) However this wasn't a problem as they had a few different opinions. The Kebab came out before I could sit down, To say the service was outstanding is an understatement. My first bite left me wondering if I should get up & order a second (the portion to price was definitely correct) it was absolutely delicious. “Unlike Thailand or Australian Taco Bell this one has Chalupas. This means NZ is officially better than Australia. If you have never had a chalupa you are missing out. They are crispy and soft all at the same time. Eating a chalupa is like biting into a super tasty cloud. Amazing.”

“Don’t usually leave reviews but just wanted to share how great this venue was at sorting an incident that happened- a man undid my top at the bar and tried to take it off me. After my friends told me to tell the bar what happened, the bartenders didn’t even question it they immediately informed the management to ask the man to leave and one even gave me a jacket to wear after noticing how uncomfortable i looked. A great example of how these things should be dealt with and making the night a better and safer place for everyone :) thank you so much”

“VEGETARIANS: Went at 6pm on a Friday night and waited only about 30 minutes. Spent 40 dollars on so many different items. Favourite was the crunch supreme with beans and the soft/hard taco with beans. The cheese dip is TO DIE FOR when you dip the chips in it. They got my meal correct and didnt put meat in it which is very rate for fast food places these days. Really reccomend the cheesy gordita taco with beans. Such good food and happy staff despite how busy they were.”

“We wandered around Takapuna looking for somewhere nice to eat. As it was a public holiday the whole area was buzzing and it took ages to find anywhere and we ended up here. “I always grab my matcha latte from here. It’s my little pre-workout ritual before heading to the gym! The staff here are amazing and always so friendly. One time I came in totally distracted and couldn’t remember my order (I always get the same thing), and the kind barista said, “almond milk matcha latte?”. Ever since then he just asks, “the usual?” and makes it perfect each time. It’s small gestures like that that make the experience so special. Great matcha, even better service!”
