    The bar staff on the night we were in, were wonderful, they were super busy and appeared to be under a lot of pressure sadly. We had a few drinks which were good, but our food never arrived. After about 40 mins I asked about it and was told it was on the way, acknowledging it was busy we went back to our drinks but popped to the supermarket in the mean time just in case, after an hour I asked again and was told 5 mins, it never came. at 1 hour 30 I asked for a refund, which I did get but we were disappointed not to have been able to eat with our drinks.

    Made an in person booking for 3 people on Saturday morning for that night. Arrived and picked out meals from menu then a waitress arrived and told us they had a party of 60 plus and could not serve us anything but pizza. They must have known they had that group when I made my booking. 60 people don't just walk in off the street.

    Don’t usually leave reviews but just wanted to share how great this venue was at sorting an incident that happened- a man undid my top at the bar and tried to take it off me. After my friends told me to tell the bar what happened, the bartenders didn’t even question it they immediately informed the management to ask the man to leave and one even gave me a jacket to wear after noticing how uncomfortable i looked. A great example of how these things should be dealt with and making the night a better and safer place for everyone :) thank you so much

    whoever owns this pub should invest in training their staff on customer service, staff ignoring customers to stock bar not even managing to say hello with a smile. fish was good as you would expect from seaside town, but bar staff were rude and unhelpful.

    Great food, I had medium rare steak, perfectly cooked. My date had caesar salad also great apparently. Awesome staff and service.cant fault them

    Very disappointing, ordered 2 meals and although they were quiet, it was a big wait. When they arrived, the pesto pasta had no signs or flavour of any pesto. Then after a little bit, we found a metal shaving in the food. We sent it back and they said they would make another one, by the time it arrived all meals and drinks were finished, just as this one was starting. A real shame as the location and character has a lot of potential but you still have to follow through with good service
