   Went to Mexicali in Rolleston and the server was very friendly and quick to get my order ready. When I got home to eat my meal (I ordered chicken fajita burrito and chips with guacamole), its was very nice and filling. Everything had great flavours, I brought one of the hot sauces there and it was very good and had a great amount of heat to it, spicier than your average hot sauce like Tabasco or red hot. Would definitely go back again, they also put in extra chips with my burrito which I’m sure is a normal thing but I saw someone else complain that they don’t do this which I’m sure for that customer they probably just accidentally forgot to do that one time. Over all very good and would be happy to order again. Probably wouldn’t dine in as it’s more a place you would just get takeout from even though there are places to sit and eat, not really a place to take the family but a good place to get a quick and easy dinner to take home and eat.

   Had the best mexican food ever in christchurch. Went there on today they were having 12$ nachos which usually is sold for 20.90 so got a big bargain..the server was really nice, full of smiles and positive aura..my friend tried their chicken burrito and its really juicy and flavourful.Can’t recommend the place enough.add us on the regular list definitely coming back soon☺️

   Consistently delicious food, with a great range of customisation. Quantity and price are really impressive - it's become a weekly treat, especially with discounts on Thursdays. The new management have really improved the atmosphere and quality, so I definitely recommend here for a meal any time.

   I witnessed the staff member putting raw chicken on the cooktop with gloves, but then not washing their hands before serving. Not enough staff so I had to wait about ten minutes to be served, the salsa had gone off and was fizzy, the menu and specials were a bit misleading, but mostly very poor service between being rushed and poor listening. There are branches of this franchise that are owned by people who actually care and are not trying to cut every corner, this is not one of them. Also, while not important, you usually get a couple of free tortilla chips with your order, but not here!

   Ordered american style nachos was the best nachos ive ever had and asked for a silly face on the box, definitely cheered me up :) ordered for delivery and came 45 minutes early, only took about 10- 15 minutes to get to me

   Love this place ! This Mexicali is one of the best ones in the Canterbury region. The staff are soo lovely and the restaurant is always clean and tidy. The service is always fast and faultless, plus they always give a very generous servicing size which is a bonus. Could not recommend this place enough.

   Stopped by for birthday lunch to try my first burrito in NZ (finally). Staff were great and generous with the portions. It was tough to get the shell folded, just how it should be. While it wasn't the best burrito I've had, it was quite good and I'd definitely have it again.

   I notice people rarely review good experiences because so many people expect it, but people are quick to complain online if a hair is out of line. So here are some kinds words to the staff that served my partner and I tonight. I came in near close with my partner for a takeaway dinner and the lovely staff were friendly, and efficient in serving us while others were tidying and restocking. Its clean with a nice layout and atmosphere if you decide to dine in. The staff were knowledgeable on what my options were given my gluten-free dietary restrictions, and the portions are large with good value for money. My partner’s burrito was so full she struggled to wrap it up! Great service and really fresh and tasty food. Thank you for looking after us :)
