“These guys are the place to go. Every time. Years ago my friend sent me to their other shop to buy a battery. I had the battery for 2 and 1/2 years before I sold the car with it in it. At the time the battery cost me $30. I but tyres that other places try to charge me 3 times the price. Today we purchased 2 very good tires for $80. They will last us a couple of years. I always buy our tires here. Any part the have never let me down in 15 years.”

Many are imported from the foods' country of origin: olives from Kalamata, Greece. Pasta from Italy. Etc. And some, like the organic breads for example, are produced locally. Not only are their foods fantastic, so is their staff. Smart. Responsive. Proud but eager. Striving. Friendly and welcoming.”

He found some recommendations, I ordered, and the bottles were delivered the next day which also happened to be Monday, Queen's Birthday. Their wine list is extensive and there is a whole vegan section. Definitely recommended.”

“Been shopping here for years, they have the freshest quality of spices and condiments for various cuisines - Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Brazilian, Argentian and more. They also have speciality ingredients for all your baking, sourdough, fermenting needs. They also stock an incredible vegan and allergy friendly food selection. You can also request for ingredients they may not stock, and the owner usually will try and source it for you. The prices are also the best in the area by a big margin. Better than all the supermarket duopolies.”

“Great food and restaurant layout, and open Mondays, thank goodness. Tasty food, we did the "Fratelli Feast" (Mondays and Tuesdays) deal with an entrée to share, a main and dessert of your choice. Added extra sides of "Brussels sprouts" and "Garlic and truffle oil fries", they were delicious. Nice wine and lemonchello too. There are specials, we saw the pan fried fish which looked very good. “Ordered the chilli scram and it was really good! The spring onions and chillis were a great addition, and added depth and flavour to the dish. The scrambled eggs themselves were velvety and delicious, and the sourdough underneath was buttered and toasted to perfection. The rest of the table seemed to really enjoy their meals as well! The atmosphere here is lively but not too loud, so none of us struggled to have conversations and hear one another. Overall, a great experience and we'll be back :)”

“It was our first time to Blue Haven Berries and we were surprised with the huge ice-cream servings. Customer services was awesome. “I'm vision impaired and struggled to read their menu (Very small print with fancy font). It's very busy and I found it difficult to read what they had. It also says online that they make vegan Mac n cheese etc however when I asked they only had soups and fresh sandwiches, tacos etc. The chipotle taco, soup and sandwich I had on two separate occasions were delicious and the fact they cater for vegans and vegetarians is amazing. Seems alternative eating has gone backwards everytime I visit NZ however this place is amazing.”
