Came here for breakfast with my extended family during our stopover in Hamilton. Great food, fantastic friendly service from staff. Be warned that the food portions are HUGE! Definitely value for money. Oooh yes, they served great coffee too. Highly recommended.
Ordered the chilli scram and it was really good! The spring onions and chillis were a great addition, and added depth and flavour to the dish. The scrambled eggs themselves were velvety and delicious, and the sourdough underneath was buttered and toasted to perfection. The rest of the table seemed to really enjoy their meals as well! The atmosphere here is lively but not too loud, so none of us struggled to have conversations and hear one another. Overall, a great experience and we'll be back :)
Great place, caterers as well as Cafe. Friendly service. You can buy at the Cafe, what you want for catering later, don't get that opportunity to try with caterers much. Catering today was superb. Delivered on time im Hamilton CBD and artfully arranged. Tea is leaf tea and piping hot in good sized pot. Parking by Cafe can get quite full.
Fantastic cafe! Not only was the food and coffee incredible, but the service was exceptional. The front of house staff member was incredibly friendly, thoughtful and attentive - service hard to come by these days. Couldnβt recommend this cafe enough.
Came for breakfast - split the French Toast (loads of fresh fruit) and the Chilli Scram (scrambled a eggs with sweet and hot chili with feta cheese). Loved them both! Great lattes. Popular spot.
One of the warmest places in Hamilton. stands out from the surrounded buildings. liked the atmosphere indoors and a chance to sit and enjoy the sun outdoors. Had vegan options. The girl Kiki serving us was lovely and so kind. Gave some great recommendations. Will definitely come again!
The service we received from Steve and the Team at Gather Foodhouse was amazing! We had an afterhours function that they catered for, and all communication was answered quickly. The food arrived and it was sensational! The presentation was impeccable, and everyone raved about how delicious it all was. Thank you very much, we here at Tiles on Devon look forward to supporting local again soon!
The homemade fudge was delicious!! As was the beetroot latte and french toast. Beautifully plated and friendly staff. 5/5
Gather foodhouse is a great place for lunch. The staff are incredibly attentive. We have turned up when they are super busy and they always let you know they are busy, set expectations and still manage to get your drink orders and food to you. They have a great cabinet selection. But I can never go past the extensive menu, where there are still loads of things I want to order next visit. There are multiple pancake options. Last time I was there I had the rice pudding and for less than 15 bucks it was massive and so so good. They have a salad bowl on the menu too that is really tasty, but again bring your appetite. The general feel of the place is fresh and well decorated. Itβs a real joy to go.
