I stopped by to take a look at their cars two weeks ago, Zac was busy with another client so Sandy helped me out, I was specifically looking for a Golf R and while they did not have any in stock at the time, Sandy said that two were being delivered soon and showed me a couple pictures and while they were both slightly out of my price range, I asked them to let me know when they arrived so I could drive down from Palmerston to have a look. A week later I got a call from Zac and I asked if they could hold back on advertising it so that I could come have a look that weekend, after seeing the car, I was absolutely sold, they even gave me a great deal on the car which it met my budget! This is my go to dealer for VWs (they have other brands as well, im just a VW fan), I now have two cars from them and both are some of the best examples I have seen in NZ. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a high quality car. Sandy and Zac were very helpful and got the finance arranged, services done, and had the car ready for collection a week later. Thanks guys!!
Would definitely recommend, my first time using gwm but dealing with Zac it made the process easy. Any questions can be answered but if not Zac would find the information. Great Service, Great vehicles
I've bought 2 cars from Sandy over the last 7 years. He had exceptional standards in terms of the imports he stocks, he is honest, sincere and dependable. He is always my first call when it comes to a second hand vehicle A real unicorn in the Japanese imports market here in Wellington You can't go wrong!
So some reviewers here have said the sales guy isn't interested. Let's throw some perspective then. So... I walked in and saw he was busy, so I waited the 5-10 mins as asked while I was gawking at the options "cars" infront of me. Decided on a wicked looking MK7 Golf R and started the process with a deposit and finance. I got some advice that night from a family friend so said it was worth paying the 6k more for a model with 60000 less k's on it. That pushed my financial situation but they were right i would be better off. Zac allowed me with no security deposit on the car to come up with the money that the finance wouldn't approve to get that car and then did everything in his power to make sure I could get through the finance process and get that car as quick as I did. They even accepted my well loved trade in. Either way thanks to him, I now own a wicked looking low k's black MK7 Golf R which I didn't think was possible at the time. I was a nervous wreck. But am thankful for the experience and result.
Fantastic service from Zac, very friendly and easy to deal with. I never felt pressured into a sale and the whole experience was as easy as could be. Also impressed with added features to convert radio into English with NZ navigation and optional carplay/android auto (which you normally don't expect with a Japanese import.) Zac also througherly explained all the features of my new car when I picked it up. Very happy and satisfied customer here, would recommend to anyone
10/10!!! After finding the perfect car, Zac and the team went out of their way to ensure our car was ready (with added features) the very next day, on new years eve, the busiest time of year too!! The team even stayed later than closing so we could have the car before the public holidays. We absolutely love our car and are very happy. We would highly recommend Great Wall Motors!
