“This review is going to be quite long as the Lanark team have done a lot on our home and I want to make sure I don’t miss anything out. Lanark first came to our attention when we brought them in for a second opinion on a broken toilet that a different plumber had told us couldn’t be fixed. Donovan managed to get it working again that day and then made plans with us to come back in a few months to replace it at a time that worked better for us. The next project was an update to our gutters. I’d been trying for literally a year to get someone to come and give us a quote and kept being given the runaround by specialist companies who didn’t seem to take on our irregularly shaped roof. I eventually found a team willing to take the job on, only for it to quickly become apparent they were woefully unqualified to complete the job. In a passing conversation, my daughter mentioned Lanark does guttering and roofing, and again we got Donovan around for a second opinion. He was at our house within a few hours, where he pointed out many instances of unsafe and sub-par workmanship from the other team. He helped us navigate out of our contract with the other team and had his team on site within a few weeks with proper materials and the classic Lanark can-do attitude. The gutters look amazing now and have been performing excellently. When it was time to update our aging Heat Pump Lanark was our first call. The team were incredible, great advice, quick turn around and the new heat pump runs like a dream, so warn and quiet! Honestly, I wish we’d done it years ago. It’s gotten to the stage now where we get them around for any odd job we think of to make our home more comfortable. They were in last week to baby-proof our TV and move some power outlets; as always quick, friendly and impeccable finish. I can’t rate Donovan, Rhys and the team highly enough. The quality of their work is outstanding, and they’re genuinely a pleasure to have in your home, always respectful of our space, and nothing is too much trouble. Absolutely wonderful to work with.”

“A final progress comment for this project. My kitchen is now fully completed! Although it's still small, but it's cosy bright and modern. I am very satisfied. I believe Kitchen Studio has done their best for my kitchen, they have magically transitioned it from an old style to a modern and half open plan completely new look! He is an excellent leader and a quick decision maker. From my experience that in his business he definetly put customer first as well as providing the highest quality of the design and products. I also would like to say thank you for my designer Nisa. She is very patient person. She provided me 3 options of the design and modified all the details to fit my need. I have just experienced from an unhappy customer to a super satisfied customer. This could only happen in the Kitchen Studio Northshore. No wonder it is the most trusted brand in NZ! After I posted a comment on 30/06/2020. The director of the Kitchen Studio Northshore Paul straight away sent me emails, messages and gave me phone calls. He met me on site the next day morning. I was very impressed with his efficient. Paul was very patient. He listened my story and proposed a few solutions straight away. The next day, he followed up my case and insisted to come over again next week to make sure things are under the right direction. Very good customer service and excellent leadership. So far I am satisfied with the solution. I rate 3 stars for now and we will see how it goes when everything is fully finished. Posted on 30/06/2020 Super disappointed with the schedule. Fully paid the fees on time. Started the job on 5/05/2020, but I was told today that I still have to wait till 22/07/2020 to get my splash back glass installed. They haven't even measured it yet. All these days my kitchen is just sealed and pending there. Not acceptable and it is misleading to me. Especially at the begining I was told by the designer that I am not able to use the kitchen for only 1 week, but now it has been over a month. My builder told me that the entire house renovation is gonna finish this week. However, my kitchen is still on the way. Electrician is not able to install the switch and connect all the appliances till the splash back glass is installed. Gave them a call, I was trying to ask them to speed it up and solve the problem. The explanation from the manager was: bench is not installed yet, it takes time. Only bench is installed then they can measure the splash glass. My debate is, you contracted with the builder to install my kitchen, it is your responsibilities to follow up the whole schedule and delivery the services. Never over promise anything. I told the manager that I am not going to recommend kitchen studio to my friends and family. I was questioned back from him: so what other brands can you recommend? Ummm, arrogant. I am trying to be nice to hide all these names. I hope it is only just me had a bad experience. The others have better experiences from the kitchen studio.”

“My request was for an urgent clean prior to house sale due to a few spills and tradespeople marks on our otherwise brand new carpet. I needed to change the booking to a week earlier and Fiona was able to set the service up very quickly. The technician Pani arrived within an hour of discussion and carried out her work in a very professional manner. She was able to accommodate us shifting possessions around the house (it was moving day!) and was lovely to deal with.
