   It's got a nice garage theme, but not uncomfortably. Tyre tread on walls, giant screw driver, nice mechanic theme. It's quite unique.

   I get beer festival is a busy weekend, but we weren't warned of a wait when we came for a late breakfast before being seated and placing our orders. Our drinks came quickly, but then we waited for 45 minutes when a server finally stopped at our table to say she was going to check on the food and come back. She didn't come back. We had to flag her down again. I enquired about more drinks but this time was advised of the wait! We were told our food was three minutes away, and it was! Praise jeebus. Sadly the bacon was watery and we had the two most pathetic pieces of ciabatta, that were meant to be toasted, but I'm not sure if they ever made it onto the grill. It was a real let down after they'd been so good the day before. Joes Dunedin was always a tradition for us before the beer festivals but next year it's time for a new tradition.

   A great experience. We went in a lazy warm Sunday afternoon. Of course, the staff was anything but lazy. We sat near the fireplace. Had a beer with large chips and vege burger. Great experience - sitting with a beer next to the cracking fire and savouring the chips and aioli and burger.

   Just a really not great first impression maybe. Bacon & eggs were cold and the egg white wasn’t cooked properly, the hollandaise taste a bit funny, and the ‘iced’ mocha wasn’t that chill and had no ice.

   We were looking for a cold drink after a long walk, we searched the nearby places and found this lovely place. The door and decor was very interesting with tools hanging around, lovely atmosphere, good quick service, we ordered a shake and a smoothie which was OK nothing impressive. We will come back to try the food

   Good place to dine for dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. Meals were very good, nice size portions. Decor was tasteful. Reasonably priced.

   Surprised we were able to get a table for about 15 people without a booking but ended up in the outdoor area. Ordering wasn't difficult and the meals all came around the same time. We even had a few stragglers who were easily accommodated. I had the autobahn schnitzel and it was alright. The gravy that came with it was nice with the chips. Decent pub food.
