“Both of my boys have been here for the past 3 years and I think of this place as an extension of my family. From day 1 they have been such brilliant teachers and everyone genuinely cares about all the children. The centre includes all food and eat such healthy and delicious meals. As a working parent since 7 months old, knowing your children are well loved, eating nutrious meals, are getting a fantastic education is a huge weight off my mind. Regular excursions in the van from parks, swimming, dancing etc which makes the days different for the kids. It's such a community amongst the families where we all get together to celebrate mothers day, Matariki, fathers day and Christmas. Working in another ECE centre makes me appreciate it even more!”

Due to the pressure of lockdown , transitioning my daughter at the age of 9 months had its difficult moments as a mother but the Kaiako here at Active Explorers were flexible, understanding and supportive through the whole journey.
