My dad has now switched to them too after seeing how well they looked after me and he's equally happy. He's not easy to impress. Easiest five-star rating I've ever given! “Probably the first positive experience I’ve ever had at a mechanics. Failed my WOF at VTNZ due to brake imbalance. Took it in to the guys at Mairangi and after a while I get a call to say they checked it over and there is nothing wrong with my brakes at all and they even took it down to the road to a brake place to confirm. Told me I don’t need to fix anything and also didn’t charge me at all to look at it. Super honest guys and extremely nice. I’d recommend them any day and I will be back in the future.”

Easily the best, most friendly mechanics I've ever known (and I'm a bmw owner so I've known a few) they are always happy to help, clearly explain everything that needs doing and might need doing in the future explaining reasons why in normal easy to understand language so if you don't know much about cars you still get it. The work carried out is top notch and they are transparent on costs of parts and labour so you know exactly what you have paid for! No hidden costs! They go above and beyond in keeping everything as cheap as reasonably possible and at the end of it they even clean your car for you! Nice touch! Go pay the boys a visit for anything car related - I'd not only trust them with the motor but with my first born tooo!”
