“If u need a mechanic Island bay motors are AWESOME. I drove to a lunch meeting on Friday in Mirimar from Island Bay. On the way back heard funny sound when braking. Drove by the garage 1:45pm had a chat, they had a quick look and confirmed brakes were stuffed. They had a cancellation and offered to fit me in. So I left the car with them. They rung shortly after to confirm disc brakes rusted out both sides and pads worn out and told me the repair cost. They got new ones couriered from petone immediately. All fixed and paid for at 5:15pm....3.5 hrs after I first had a chat!! Crazy good service. Lovely people as well.”

My bike was super low on air and I almost didn’t go to them because they’re not the most centrally locates. Don’t let that deter you - because they’re worth supporting! They fixed my problem perfectly and even dropped me off back to where my route had me starting from. They are GOOD people, did great work, did not even charge me for the tire pump up, and went above and beyond with their service.”
