   The team at Pohutukawa Motors are the best. I highly recommend them for quality, fast, friendly service, transparency in pricing and visibility of future work required on car (ie at next service). They have helped me on two urgent issues this year and found a workable solution, even when fully booked. Their receptionist is an exceptionally lovely, helpful lady who keeps the wheels turning on the busy workshop.

   These guys were supper supportive and accommodating after an unexpected issue which developed in our vehicle. They were quick to figureout the issue, what repairs were needed, and were able to fix the problem first time. So far so good. Our vehicle is running better than before. So grateful!! Highly recommend them!

   Not To Be Trusted ! Used Phil for years, always got on great and gave him $thousands in business. Unfortunately, my Prado got a blown head gasket and Phil + team failed to diagnose correctly but took $thousands in repairs/replacements not required. went to meditation over the matter and headlock - had to go to court - not worth it. Toyota dealer garage in Takanini immediately diagnosed properly head gasket fail. Unfortunately Phil and his management team too arrogant and smug to admit being in the wrong and were quite happy to throw away years of good faith - their small short term gain and significantly bigger long term loss.
