I went here to get my oil changed because VTNZ said it was dirty when I went for a warrant. I really appreciated that honesty was more important than money. The guy showed me that the oil didn't need changing and off I went - happy!
Oil Changers, Napier was highly recommended by a friend and I too highly recommend them. No appointment needed - I had a service done on my Honda HRV, good price as well. The team are super friendly and helpful. There is also a waiting area where you can make a hot drink and relax while your vehicle is being attended to. It didn't take them long - also, my Honda needed an air filter which had to be ordered in. It arrived the next day, I was contacted, parked out the back and one of the young men fitted it and within a few minutes I was driving off. I will definitely return - thanks again.
Fast service. Oil+filter changed. Prices estimated are clearly displayed and very reasonable. Explained at end what was checked. Several things were not due to being 'sealed'. Recommended Transmission services every 80km-100km and referred to one that can check. Informative at end with a few questions. Didnt feel I was being a burden to them. Recommended.

Be aware if you have a euro vehicle. Mine required a ALUMINUM crush sump washer to seal it properly. After a day of oil leaks (500ml lost in 24 hours) went to a garage, dumped oil again only to find a STEEL washer had been fitted! ... side cutters even struggled to cut it. We replaced with a proper ALUMINUM crush washer from BNT and low and behold! No leaks! Even at recommended OEM torque settings.

Cain & the team at Oil changers Napier do a brilliant job! Always friendly and make it really easy. Oil change service only takes about 10 minutes and it super great value for what you get. Auto-trans flush service takes a bit longer but is worth every cent. Always take the time to explain simply what is going on if you have problems with your car. These guys really are worth visiting!
