   We had the boys replace the big battery in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. This battery sits under the driver's seat, and is not easy to access. Phoenix had the old battery out and the replacement fitted and tested in short order, and with a big smile we were done.

   I was having so much trouble finding a new battery for my car. It felt like no one could help and those who could help couldn’t really be bothered. It was becoming quite an agonising task. That is until I called Hastings Beaurepaires, who I only called last because I associate them with tyres not batteries and I actually thought their google ad was a mistake with batteries being on there but, to my surprise it was not a mistake. During my phone call with Derek (who I must say was very helpful and thorough) we established they had the exact battery I needed and as a bonus it was also the cheapest in the whole of Hastings, I kid you not! I phoned every battery shop in Hastings and the prices for car batteries have increased significantly in the last 3 years since I last bought one. So I arrive at Beaurepaires around 4:40 (they close at 5) it’s Thursday AND it’s raining. So I’m expecting these guys to tell me to come back tomorrow or at the very least give me grumpy customer service, but no, I was greeted with a smile and a lovely lad named AJ started the battery swap straight away, without any hesitation! Now one thing you need to know is my battery is a b!tch to get out I felt so relieved and grateful in that moment, that he was going to do all that at no extra cost. He reset all the windows everything that needed doing and by 5pm on the dot the job was done and dusted. I highly recommend Hastings Beaurepaires. Yes I will be using them again in the future, yes I will be telling all my friends and family to go there for all their tyre, battery and car servicing needs. Yes I am impressed and appreciate their fantastic customer service. Thank you Derek and AJ at Hastings Beaurepaires for saving the day. Bless.

   Booked car into Hastings branch on the 12th December 2022 to get headlights restored as stated in their advertising on the website, job took around 15 minutes?? I did ask if they used multi-step system as recommended on various internet sites & lights did look better for a couple days, unfortunately less than a week later, they are now back to what they were beforehand. Waisted $55. Maybe Beaurepairs management could educate there staff on the proper process that should be used. Perhaps check out the recommended way as illustrated on multiple sites on YouTube. Also don't advertise Headlight Restoration but just Headlight Cleaning would be more appropriate.
