   I’ll be honest: I didn’t want to go to a chain or franchise as I've always preferred the personalised care of a small local mechanic who gets to know your car and its quirks. But the Google reviews for Pitstop Napier were on the ecstatic side of enthusiastic, so I figured I should do my due diligence. Would reality match the hype? Turns out... hell yes! — and then some. I suspected a hole or crack in the muffler, so called them up. A very friendly chap told me to whizz round and he'd check it out. Now. For free. The problem was intermittent, so the next thing I know I’m taking Jayden on a tiki tour around Bluff Hill for a good 20 minutes — at no charge — trying to demonstrate the issue. We get back, he does a couple of things and (without going into detail because it’s a bit embarrassing) he sorts it. For free. In short: the best, most generous, whānau service (turns out they're actually a family-run business) you’ll find anywhere. Ten stars if I could give them. Instead, they've got a loyal customer for life.

   Wow, wow, wow! Had my car in with another supplier for a WOF which it failed due to break issues which they couldn't see to for four days. Phoned Pit Stop - Tim said bring it straight down right away. The repair took 20 minutes, they did a new WOF as I didn't want to take it back to the other place ... so welcoming, so professional, very considerate and as a woman was treated with absolute respect. I will 100% be going back here and they have earned my loyalty. If I could give them higher ratings I would. Oh - and they kept the cost down for me given I had already paid for a WOF with the other place, I didn't expect this and would have happily paid the cost of the repair, but they insisted.

   Came in yesterday and the guys there were so lovely! They did all they could to keep costs down and still get the job done to a great standard I was a bit worried about getting ripped off being a young female but they were truly so kind I will definitely be recommending them!
