“After failing my WOF at VTNZ, I went to the VTNZ recommend garage. They quoted $850 for 2 ball joints. Luckily I came to Paokwhai Autos for another quote. Scott did the job for $450 in only 3 hours. “After getting diagnostics from Autoelectricians and mechanics in Cambridge, Hamilton and Tauranga I drove to Napier to DSL because they seemed to have a "handle" on the problem with my Subaru Diesel showing fault lights with Park Brake, Traction Control System and DPF resulting in car running in limp home mode. The latter effectively killing auto park brake, hill-start, cruise control and severely handicapping the performance of an otherwise lively engine. 2 hours with "Phil" at DSL and I was handed back a car with all systems functioning and an almost new life. In fairness he did warn me that it is "an extension" and that eventually I would need an EGR and DPF restorative clean (not cheap) but at least they did what even the Subaru dealership in Tauranga couldn't manage. Thanks guys. It was certainly worth the three hour drive over and I will be back for the additional work when required. My hats off to your thoroughness and skills -”
